As a New Zealander, it feels as if some of our identity has been lost. Kiwis were generally regarded as low-key, pragmatic people that just got on with things and didn't take themselves to seriously. Our social cohesion has become a lot worse over the past few years and the country's leaders seem more worried about how we appear to the rest of the world then facing the true realities which face the country. Considerations into things like GM crops, nuclear energy, etc would all show that we are realistic about the challenges we face and are keen to make a real difference.

So you like, "old" leaders? What is the emphasis on young leaders all about? It appears the notion of a cult as crept in to this dialogue a few times I have noticed. I've gone from working as a clinical nurse specialist to unemployed & living in my van. Never followed 'directives' and saw right through it from the start. I hope there is enough resistance and not too late to change the trajectory of the new world order.
I believe wholeheartedly in the higher powers. I believe in us...and have made my peace for what is.
