- RBDLab is a new Physics addon for Blender. Like the other addon we talked about recently it uses Blender’s physics and particle systems. It can be used for fracturing objects, making them explode, adding smoke, debris, and so on. RBDLab not only reduces the time to achieve great results using Blender, but it can also do more!

Ah couldn't get me this time, already bought this a few days ago! It's awesome, yes you can do this stuff yourself but this speeds up your work flow massively. Had an issue and the developer replied within an hour, awesome addon.
Thanks for the feedback man; its highly appreciated as always!
@@InspirationTuts I'll always be watching, have been since I dipped my toes into your world and fell in love. Crazy you have 136k subscribers, your channel has grown a ton since I started following you and it's well deserved.
@@InspirationTuts can you use this for game projects? or its only for film? like can you destroy a building and take it as how it is and export it as a FPX and then import it to unreal? if so then ill buy this without thinking
@@modz7014 of course you could but you could just use cell fracture with rigid body if you just want the broken building after the destruction
I love it from the first day!!
Best addon ever
Another addon I have to have... This could be really fun paired with Carl's Simulation Physics Helper. I feel that there are a lot of very good addons that are becoming popular in Blender lately that provide a lot of high-level functions. Things like Carl's Simulation Helper or Simply Cloth Pro are great examples of addons that cleverly combine many tools into interfaces that make it much easier to wield and allows more time on the creative process.
That Nuclear blast shockwave result was sweet I might get it just for that hehe
Wow super video
Superb..
I like these add ons. However, I don’t think it hurts to learn how to do this stuff on your own also.
nice
Cool...
its like the fracture modifier for blender 2.79
Please purcase New FM 2.9
this is gonna be major is about 2 years
Does this work for all objects including vehicles?
I make this add-on for earthquake shoot and falling building... 🤯🤯🤯 Epic!!!
and again wow
Wooow😍
How about organic destruction?
siiiiiiiiiiiiicccckkkkkk. not much else to say, really.
Please tell some free add-ons🙂💥
G👌
do you know of something that is good for creating somewhat accurate or realistic looking thrusters/rocket exhaust?
Check out LightArchitect's channel, they have a video literally for that using their Khaos addon (another one well worth the money). It's called "Blender 3d Rocket Launch Simulation: Full Tutorial ft. KHAOS add-on". They just released a full tutorial on simulating jet contrail particle systems as well. RBDLab is great, but so is Khaos. Together they are very powerful tools to add to your workflow
@@randmanq Thanks. I'll have a look.
I was thinking "Oh, this looks pretty cool, I might download it!"
But $70?? Just to more quickly use built-in features? That's not at all worth it to me. The only real thing that this speeds up which is hard to do, is convincing particles.
Took long enough. 3ds max did a lot of this long ago.
Rayfire did it for 3dsmax more than 10 years ago
@@SamBacket ray fire blows this away. No comparison lol pulldownit did it years ago and it still is better, but I do applaud blender for having it no doubt
@@mileshodge3477 blender need a lot more love for physics in general.
@@SamBacket rayfire is awesome! Wish blender had it.
@@mileshodge3477 Rayfire is also 10 times more makes a big difference when you have backing.
Laughs in Houdini
After 1 year later i found that your channel logo has Master Chief in it...
Yeah i will surely buy it for 70$... no lmao. never.
*Laughs in Houdini*
Not every body can learn Houdini. It's so Complex Software for Full Time job Artists. But We indie filmmakers can make high quality cgi with Blender and this type of plugins with Less Budget and Less Time, Less System resources.
