"You're 44 years old now, how much longer do you think you're going to do this?"
"Not too long, maybe 5 or 10 years." - A legend
You can't be legend if you're 44 and look like you're 74.
@@obijuankenobi420 bro what
@@obijuankenobi420 You mad that 44 year old would knock you out
@@realnigga1440 Too many drugs for that guy
@@obijuankenobi420 he doesn't look nearly 74 you're just talking rubbish
Jon Anik has to be a huge asset for the company. Never makes a mistake, very thorough and well informed
Itâs like him and Goldberg arenât even in the same universe. And I love Goldie
The custody battles incident
@@MF-fo4nn it was bizarre, but kinda funny
@@MF-fo4nn Jon is still human. He rarely makes mistakes
Never thought I'd like Anik more than Mike..
for Joe to be so into each & every fight after so many years is wholesome af ..also love how he always watches through the cage & not the monitor like Jon Anik.. the trio work well together, Paul knows his stuff & chimes in at the perfect moments. that said, nothing better than when Joe grabs DC after a crazy KO!
He was doing both lol live and screen. But Joe has said many times that often it's kinda hard to see what's going on in the octagon back it's almost as if they're to close to the ring and more so if they're on the ground back might just get a fighters back and can't see what's going on with the other fighter
Anik, Rogan, and Felder are my favorite commentary team. Idk why but seeing Felder excited when he commentated makes me really happy lol itâs nice seeing a legend of the sport still have a solid career close to the fight game after they retire
DC is biased and he cant control his emotions, its sad, cause he is a really funny guy
McTapper stalkers overuse âwholesomeâ.
This is my favorite trio for events. Felder is my favorite MMA fighter commentator his work alongside Gooden and bisping was great too.
1:30 Big Jon Anik goes from raving like a madman to casually sipping his espresso! đ€Ł Love him, lol.
Yeh, that made me laugh. What about when he casually looked at his phone amidst it all? I'm sure he could commentate reading a book.
thats what i like about him.
he has a good rant.
serious passion đ
Fr S tier commentator
bisping is the worst ufc should try and boot him out
I adore Jon Anik. Professional. Crisp. Clear. Keeps everything moving.
You donât like Goldie putting people to sleep ?
Fitzgerald needs to go , he's terrible
_'Crisp'._ I like that. Interesting way of describing somebody having constant, athletically sound and smooth movement. Almost an autopilot type of movement. He doesn't even seem to think about it. Like there's a pendulum swinging inside him that automatically keeps him bouncing in just the right way.
Best in the business.
I used to hate him, now I love the guy
Glad they included Oleinik's post fight interview to remind people how special that win was. Some of his techniques and submissions are not well known to majority of fans, they didn't even know he already had submission secured until the ref jumped in.
Edit: I remember even some fighters he fought didn't even know they were getting submitted too lol.
He's been pro since like 99 and has 60 effing wins. 48 by submitting professionals. It's unbelievable. I've only been into mma for a few years now but watched alot of his old fights and it's amazing to see him still doing it
@@thedonofthsht76-58 yeah man he is a legend of the sport sad alot of people still don't recognise him....Well alot of casuals.
I heard ANik on his podcast say that after the fight the dude who got submitted went to Oleinik and asked him to show him how he did it....Guy really had no idea he was F...D till it was too late lol đđ
@@Spills51 yeah thereâs a video on youtube if you look up their names i guess. Itâs really wholesome. The dude was amazed with that move and ready to learn. They tried it on one of the cornermen.
That guy can submit anyone from any position.
Khamzat/Gilbert war was an absolute barn burner. I think I was sore the next day from just watching it in the recliner. From tensing up and holding my breath!! My God these guys are superhuman!!!!
I swear these fights get my heart rate up to 200
Jon Anik dripping in sauce. Always spitting that fire in the booth
Aside from the custody Battle thing he's easily the best commentator, his post fights are the best too imo
Every time i see booth reaction, i got a feeling that Jon Anik is a little bit out of conversation with other (doesn't even looking at them) like he's an authist or something. But this time i feel good for him, he's looking fully involved.
Coked up to the gills
@@Gobblinpiss he doesn't seem like a coke head
@@seanc7990 but itâs okay for it to be public record? Itâs okay for Colby to joke about it?
Khamzat/burns was one of the best fights in UFC history, not just this year. I'm not saying it's THE best...but it's up there on a short list. Incredible fight.
I was just thinking the same.
Is it Melendez vs Sanchez level fight according to you...What you think?
Top 10
@@ashkan242 As epic as that fight was, thanks for the walk down memory lane, I do think burns/khamzat was a better fight. For entertainment...they were both stand up yelling fun but for technique and skill...burns/khamzat.
@@cloud9847 hunt vs Bigfoot
The atmosphere and chemistry was honestly great this card !
a bit decision heavy but fun nonetheless...
@@SuperPeterok yeah agreed
I mean how could anyone deny that Burns vs. Chimaev was the main event. Even the UFC is promoting it more then the co-main/main
Volk defending his belt is a bigger deal. Not to the fans of course, but in general.
No title on the line when Burns and Chimaev fought, only rankings.
@@sealion2029 Wasn't a big deal to anyone with a brain knowing damn well Volk was gonna win. Khamzat vs Gilbert had way More questions and hype on it
it was one of the best fights i have EVER saw in welterweight history
They could deny it, well, because it wasn't the main event lol that fight COULD have been just as good or boring as any other fight on the card. That's why they call it Fight of The Night, because It's not like we're gonna build a time machine to go back and switch it to the main event. That's like the best football game being Sunday afternoon and people going around calling it Monday Night Football đ
Also the UFC doesn't have to promote fights that have already happened. When you have a fight that good obviously it's the one most people are going to be talking about.
can almost guarantee that a solid 80% of those ppv buys were for burns/chimaev
Amazing how valuable anik has become to the ufc. The dude was disrespected so much when he arrived to replace Goldie and earned the respect of the community with his work ethic
0:03 Love it when I see Joe bobbing his head with the strikes đ
I was at this event and the khamzat vs burns fight was the best atmosphere I've ever been in at any sporting event in my entire life
Cant beat canelo in Arlington
Plot twist...He is only 5 and been to three events...two of them during the Covid crowd lockdown đ€šđ€šđđ
Go visit europe, el classico Barca vs Madrid or Liverpool vs Man City is 10x better than any UFC events.
@@milchsauger atmosphere wise not entertainment wise. Lots of single woman ready to go too.

Jon Anik is seriously the man.
Perfect for the job

All I hear is _'Thug Rose...Thug Rose'_ and DC's eyes popping out of their sockets.
Man you guys do such a good job at reacting to things on he spot and STILL sticking to the game plan. RESPECT.
Some absolute pearlers there! Love the energy from Joe and Jon. Props to the man Longo and Olenik in there too đȘđœ
Love seeing Anik's reactions. You can see how much passion he has for the sport.

More of these, please. I love the commentators' reaction
Megan's so deeply invested in every moment. What a great job for a fan of the sport!
Joe's analogy about baseball and being able to hold people down for 5 minutes is so factual
We need more of this reactions, gives us a new perspective of the fight :))
We all missed rogan
Thank you for showing what they're reacting to aswell. Too many videos show just the reaction

Well they can't show too much, they don't want to give away the fights so soon
Best commentating team in all sports, no doubt! The chemistry amongst them is just unbeatable.

Jon anik took it to another level with the reactions and the high pitched laugh đ
I love Paul Felder's every reactions.
Wow that was so entertaining, keep them coming ufc.
UFC is really in its golden era right now. Imagine one day UFC without either one of Dana White, Joe Rogan, John Anik, Bruce Buffers or Herb Dean, or without them altogether.
Khamzat and burns stole the night
You can see that Jon Anik really loves his job. He even spoke like he was commentating at the press conference

Props to the guy wearing the Paul McBeth hat behind the commentary booth
Pan the camera a little bit to the left, I love seeing Megan Oliviâs reactions too đ
The unique quality of UFC commentary is that the commentators are as emotionally invested in the fights as the fans.
With bonus Cam Hanes reactions đŻđŻđŻ
âA pedestrian stroll to the center of the octagonâ is hilarious lmao
Interesting to see all their reactions in the seconds right after the Zombie fight was waved off. It's clear they all were thinking in that moment not about the fight, but about the responsibility of keeping their friends whole and safe within this sport as best they can.
Love how big fans the are of the game ..they have 2 control them self
Jon anik is a true professional. God bless that guy!
I like how little time they put to include Sterlingâs fight in this vid lol
