- In this video I test out my Jackery Explorer 1000 Solar Generator to see if it can run a 700 watt microwave safely and effectively. If so, then I will carry the microwave in my van to have another way to heat food and/or beverage without having to light a stove.

Great review! Im this close to buying this specific brand. Thanks!
Hey Thanks for the video!! God bless
Great video. Looking forward to your next video with the set-up.
Good review. I live off solar batteries so the content is rather relevant.
Thank you very much ... this ist exactly my plan
Good idea, test your gear often. You never know when you maybe in the van and it's one of those nights when a stove is not a good idea or pop corn and hot chocolate is a good idea
It worked with no problem. So I am going to carry the microwave as another option.
Great video I appreciate the honesty!!
Thank you for sharing the video 😊
Wow, good job
Thanks for watching.
There is a Nuwave Gold Precision Induction Cooktop, Portable, Powerful with Large 8” Heating Coil,100°F to 575°F, 3 Wattage Settings - 600W, *900W,* 1500W that works as well.
I thought that jackery doesn't have a ground receptacle. How do you run the microwave without grounding it?
Funny, I was just in Walmart looking at 700 watt microwave. They were $50. I just received my Jackery and solar panels yesterday. Years ago, I'm pretty sure I had a 500 watt microwave. But I didn't see any there. Do you only plan to use it 30 seconds at a time or are you worried about a failure?
My wife picked this one up for $40.00. She did not want it anymore so I hijacked it. Lol. I am going to buy a few of those Microwave complete Meals and test again and see how it operates. I will post the vid.
@@biblesnbarbells If it has a setting for power intervals it might work pretty well with the jackery without a problem. Like when I set our microwave for 50%, it mircrowaves for 30 seconds and then then it stops for 30 seconds. If it normally takes 2 minutes to heat water, it will then take 4 minutes. But it ends up just as hot, but it would give the jackery a rest every 30 seconds.
