I like that there are no fumes! It's quiet and doesn't have stinky fumes that can make people sick. Looks like a great product.

The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

That's a pretty nice generator! With today's power outages everyone should have a backup generator in their homes! Okay, this is not a "whole house" generator, but it will definitely be a godsend when the power goes out!
It is a battery power supply, not a generator.
First time I seen this place, it is awesome you should do more over here if it is in the family. Fix it up so the weather does not ruin it , cool deer hunting cabin /stand . Let's see more over this way.
You can be camping in the woods, with an electric dryer next to your tent. Do the laundry in the creek and stay clean! WOW!

I bought the 1000 after Austin Texas had the winter freeze a few years ago. Solar panels...love it. Keep it ready just incase power goes out.

I just love that little cabin. Especially the screen door, lock & the entire house stove. I'd love to see you guys do some catch, clean cook & stuff there.
Really wish I could afford this because I have bad fibromyalgia & being able to run a heater, heating pad & my tablet would be wonderful. Add in being able to run the freezer I WILL eventually buy & it would be a godsend in a power outage.
Except I'll probably just pack up my cats & go to my friend's place.
Thank the Lord though it hasn't been an issue where I am. So far.

I'm the same way. I'd absolutely love to have this. I have bad fibromyalgia & can't take the cold. Something like this would allow me to run my electric oil filled radiant heater & my tablets for a long long time. Actually it would probably be a bit much for my needs but if I ever get my smaller deep freezer I could definitely run it off this. Or even just the fridge.
I'd need long cords though to run to the solar panels though. Because my apartment is dark.

Daniel, We get a lot of hurricanes in North Carolina. The power WILL go out! It was out for a week after Hurricane Matthew. I have the Jackery 2000 model. Love it. It was a little more expensive than other company models, but it is solid and worth the extra $$. The "cigarette" plug is used for CHARGING the Jackery while you run your car or truck. So, if you go somewhere and are using it that day, and away from an electric outlet, you can charge your Jackery while driving to the work site.
2. drawbacks: These power stations are HEAVY! VERY HEAVY!
3. Jackery is kinda like Tesla. Their solar plug-ins fit Jackery models only. Some of the other companies use solar charging plugs, etc. that are more UNIVESAL and you can buy online.
Other than those two things, my Jackery is SOLID! I use it all the time. You CAN keep it plugged in even after a full charge and it wont hurt anything.
I ran my air room conditioner. I've run my standard refrigerator. Microwave. Coffee maker.
I like the idea of putting the same three prong 30 AMP power plug in this new 3000 model. They also have the 3000 PRO Model. I am sure it will fit the wall cord to charge your TESLA! (LOL!) So if you run out of juice. Plug in the Jackery and you can probably get to the next charging station.

I live in Florida and think this would be perfect for hurricane season. You are correct the noise from the generator would be bad and has to be moved away from the house for safety
Looking at old videos. Did not know you used to garden. Do you still garden?? Fixing some self wicking totes. Wish me luck. Moved to town n no space do at 71 trying raised beds n container ( also have 3 green stalks) gardening. Totally different animals. Prayers appreciated.
They are great units to have. I have 2 1000 units and a 300 unit with 4 100w-solar panels. I use mine for car camping and road trips. Also if I do a hotel stay I bring one with me to use inside my hotel room. Now since you did the sound comparison. When I go camping. They all have quiet time, where people can't run their generator's over night. I leave my little 1000 Jackery pulled into my fridge for the night without making a sound.

Looks like a great generator i have nothing but good things to say about Jackery. However, check out the Bluetti line of portable power stations. I have one and it is great. The life cycle of the battery is fantastic and the system performs well in cold temperatures.
I have a Jackery like your first one and thus far, I have liked it. It charges fast and seem to hold its charge.

My son and his wife are getting started towards buying their first home. They want to find something with acres of land on the lot. A solar powered generator would be a great housewarming gift.

Ecoflow has a neat setup: their Delta series can connect to their generator, and use it or solar as-needed. The generator's also dual-fuel, so you could run gas or connect into propane.
IMO, best of both worlds.

@@teresamurray7839 It is a battery that can be hooked up to solar panels to be recharged. I can call my truck a Rolls Royce but it is still a Toyota. The Sun is the generator and the panels collect energy from it and send it to the battery.

That would be perfect but what I need around here to get a few small things done but then again, I honestly can’t afford it. Oh my God that would be absolutely perfect. Anybody who owns that could do so much camping, I was doing emergency work to help others. Yeah, the gas generators are wonderful too. I wonder how much it would help Dutch and his family on that new piece of property they own that welder would be perfect up there with them.

Good video, but I had to know what they go for. Yes, I have made arrangements to purchase one for myself. However, I must confess that I'll be buying Harbor Freight solar panels for charging aspects. In my opinion, they are some of the best for reasonable money.
