The right tube is vent. Gas goes in, air has to come out safely. At the end, you can see gas start to come out the vent. That's when they know it's full. Again, the right nozzle is really only there for safety.
It is gravity fed :). Fill hose also has a restrictor, further slowing the flow rate. The idea is make sure it takes longer to fill the tank than it does to change tires - means the tire guys don't have to rush as much and have a safer stop
I think there are restrictions to how many mechanics can be over the wall. The two guys who helped at the end were probably involved in changing the tires.
One of the hoses lets fuel in (gravity fed), the other is a vent (air comes out of the tank) to increase flow rate. When you see the fuel come out the vent, you know the car is full.
One hose is the fuel, the other is a vent from the tank to allow air out while fuel flows in. You can see at the very end the fuel comes back out the vent, that is how I know we are full
I'm not sure but my guess it to release the air that was in the tank that is now pressed out by the new fuel. In a normal car when you refill the hose does not connect air sealed so the air that is pushed out can leave.
@@AplicityModding yes it is exactly as Lanc3r said, one tube is for vent and one with fuel. if you look very closely at the transparent portion of the tubes near the hands of the refueler, the left one has fuel in it, and the right one is for venting. you can see at 1:00 the fuel rushes up the vent tube, indicating that the fuel tank is full

@@firebirdude2 you do know what horse power is no?
That thing refuels a hell of alot slower than you'd think by looking at the twin nozzles and thigh hoses.
It’s looks slow but remember u see only 1/3 of tank from this view angle,
@@project370z yeah I'm well aware of that but it still seems really slow almost like it's gravity feed.

When they have to refuel the tyre change crew should relax, the refuel takes forever anyway
can they help with opening the trunk? because he lost like 3 second there opening it two times
@@heatxtm maybe
relax? arent they doing that while he's on the track
Honestly wish cars would come with a system like that where you can pump a car full in seconds.
I would love to have that but it would take the fun and the planing and etc it wont make pit stops more exciting.
i think the problem is the regulation, what i see is it just a tank and it gravity feed
Buy a diesel and fill up at the semi pumps. 34 gallons in under a minute
Just throw the whole full fuel tanks to the car, and there you go
It would be less accurate, I would rather pay an accurate amount than overpaying. Would be neat if I didn't have to stand there for 5 min tho.
Fueling takes the longest yet fuel guy has to open two latches first ? Get someone on that and save time

Great service and the guy in the camero doesn't even leave a tip

essa empurrada que ele deu no final fez toda diferença!

Kakakakakkaka boa
1:01 It's like a big sloppy kiss goodbye.
That's very long to refuel.
@Haha Ajme Thanks for your explanation
The flow rate is controlled by the series - there is a restricter in the fuel hose
Cool perspective
Why cant these be at my local shell or marathon?
Is it just me or did that fuel take forever to fuel up?
Good job broo 🔥🔥🔥

Any indicator if the fuel tank has been full? Where I can see it?

very fast🔥🏆🏁
why there are two pipes and they are color coded? its just to increse fuel flow to put gas faster or different liquid flows in each pipe???
One hose for fuel in, the other for air out of the tank. Once you see fuel coming back out the vent you know it is full
@@KevinBobbitt ohh cool, very clever idea to suck that air out to prevent pressure to build, it helps to put gas inside the tank faster
What are the two substances he's refilling?
One for pressure one for vaccum
Race fuel in one hose, air out of the tank in the other. Once you see fuel returning in the vent hose you know it is full

why was this recommended to me 9 years after it was posted?
Why two fuel refuel lines ?
same as a car. Ones a fuel line, other is vent hose.
What if the car gets rear ended how are they going to refuel?
dnf maybe
if you get rear ended that bad you're probably not going to keep racing let alone try to refuel...
What are the 2 fuels being used
1 line is fuel and the other line is a vacuum/vent to allow fuel to flow in faster
One hose is the fuel, the other is a vent from the tank to allow air out while fuel flows in. You can see at the very end the fuel comes back out the vent, that is how I know we are full
