In this instructional cartoon, you will learn about checking into a hotel, interacting with the porter, placing an order at a restaurant over the phone, communicating with a waiter and a delivery person. The dialogue is in the Russian language. You will also learn and see how to speak in Russian and how to live in Russia. Most importantly, the film is presented from the first-person perspective of John, an American student who came to Russia to study Russian.

Good for you. You are already 80% there. For me personally I live in a country where we have a lot of russian channels and russians(Azerbaijan). So i learned russian by some old russian detective movies. If you start from here and move on to real movies nobody can doubt your russian. Good luck💪🏾
I start learning Russian around 3 months ago, when I watched the first episode I cannot understand anything which made me frustrated
I cannot believe today I can understand 50% of this episode already (without opening English subtitles)
