Every single box they open has ~ a dozen tree seeds just sitting in them.
Tree seeds are actually hard to grow in the desert and take while. Frankly the deserts not that good cause if u get hot your stamina gets fucked. Frankly the normal forest is the best cause there is a lot trees and no status effects. Although snowy areas are good cause of snowberries
@@YourWickedFuneral in the new update I love the desert. Heat isn't great but now for water all you need yucca fruit and a jar. Yucca is everywhere and jars are easy to come by. Drinks for days.
@@YourWickedFuneral how do snowberries make the snow biome good? you get sick if you eat them, they're only "barely edible" according to the game. burnt forest and forest are the best biomes for your base if you're on navezgane. Much better to be somewhere near the middle of the map as opposed to being near the edges.
@@bobthebuilder609 I personally would rather be somewhere cold than somewhere hot. But that’s just me. Food is easier to come across I’ve always found when you’re in the forest or the snow.
As someone who plays a lot of this game, I usually don’t even bother with seeds as the game runs like shit if you plant a lot of trees. Plus wood is pretty easy to come across if you aren’t in a desert

tips for them:
1) There is huge ore veins of minerals below those small surface rocks. Hit the ground around em.
2) loot everything you can find and mine household items in every building you find. if you get a wrench dismantle everything metal including cars with it
3) do the trader's missions. not only will you get money and xp but you'll find building that can have guns and invaluable resources.
4) you can buy and or find triple storage pocket mods and put them on every peice of armor to unlock all the extra slots
with these tips I had every gun and full iron armor and hundreds of bullets before day 14

Popular opinion: you are a good person and should have a good day
dont think they'll see this or continue but here are some tips in case they do
1. when you mine the mineral and ore nodes there is more to mine underneath the marking stone
2. work benches are a must for preparing for horde night they will let you craft many things at once
3. the old strategies of motes and spikes don't hold up as well any more, i find its better to make the ground level and use barbed wire and electric fences that are low to the ground, if you dig a mote around the house the zombies WILL dig under your building and collapse it if they have no other path.
4. doing missions for the trader, especially treasure hunting ones is a good way to get supplies, coins and exp.
5. get bicycles, they are fast to make after getting a forge and it is much better than walking.
6. break radiators to get brass radiators that give an immense amount of brass
7. it looked like you may have forgotten but scrap things like cans and trophies and such so save yourself inventory space
8. have one of you organize the boxes, knowing whats you have and where you get it is crucial to crafting things quickly and knowing what resources you have for horde night
9. learn the skill books if you find them to save space unless you already know them, and figure out who is gonna specialize in what weapons based on what stats they are investing in
10. gun schematics are nice but only the upgraded ones really matter since you shouldn't craft weaker guns unless you've upgraded the skill to left you craft level 5
11. scrapping guns gives parts for the gun to let you craft better ones, i normally scrap every level 1-2 at the start if i have a gun i like

Well, Mark was already beyond full (dropping stuff to pick up more stuff) by the time he left the house. Hopefully he'll go back and find those.
Here's some tips mark:
-Always check behind paintings(smash them)
-Broken/odd-looking floors will make you fall through.
-Zombies can hide behind doors. (Normal and dressing doors)
-The Blue tarp blocks gives you clay when you shovel it.
-Trash piles/Glass piles makes sounds that may attract zombies when you walk over it.
-Using a wrench on a car gives gasoline/car parts etc.
-Right clicking with a torch equipped allows you to place it.
ActuallyPR1 also continuously making axes is how you increase the level of your tools, same with weapons and crafting arrows. If you just craft axes over one night your tools level will at least get up to 100.
@@striikez7124 Not true, they changed the game mechanics to where you have to point into a specific skill to make better tools. In this case, you have to continue to level the miner69 stat.
He should smelt any tools that are broken and unable to be repaired, you get the same amount of iron it costs to make, at least in the original (When TT fucked things up like console edition). Sledgehammer for instance will give back all iron used if smelted, also scrap your stone axe and weak tools, you get materials back from it, better than throwing it away.
- Ore veins on the surface means there's that same resource in abundance directly below. Dig below to keep getting those resources (and marking it on the map is very useful). You removing the ores on the surface is basically dooming them to be hidden - make sure you mark on the map where they are/were and dig *DOWN* ...
- Heavy-swinging is the worst thing you can do when harvesting anything. Stamina-per-resource is looooow.
- There are odd looking wall-panels and floor panels that hide loot (just like paintings). Having light on your helmet lets you see the lines of the "false wall/floor" easier. A Majority of the time it takes an axe - but sometimes it's metal. If it's over 500 block health - it's not a secret. Secret walls/floors are either 100 or 300 health to dig through.
- A pickaxe or shovel is best in the hands of the miner. Miner gets more for *digging* too. They dig better - and mine better. They also gain more if they upgrade both skills up - and gain more XP.
- Spikes are useless with normal AI. Might I advise getting an AI mod that forces them to be actual zombies? the spikes you have will never be utilized due to the AI knowing the safest and best path to attack. Spike up only the weakest point (or a door - they value doors 2-3x more than walls, so if you had an iron door with a wooden house, they'd still go for the door. But any stronger - they'll go for the wooden walls).
Also the blue tarp blocks give cobblestone not clay, much more useful cus its already crafted, and the cement bags also gibe you raw cement, you need to mix raw cement with stone and sand in a cement mixer to turn it into useable concrete mix.

Bob is absolutely amazing and hilarious and he makes so many of my bad days better, whether he's playing a game with friends, such as Mark, Sean and Wade --- ((as well as others that he sometimes games with, like Tyler, Gar, Pat, Jp, DLive, Ze and Dan, Nin and sometimes Molly)), or if he's gaming solo, like he does so frequently for videos..... Though he seems to enjoy playing with a group more, since he can bounce jokes and commentary off of the others if he's talking to/with someone while they play, and his personality and sense of humor open up way more in group/competitive gameplay than when he's playing alone and merely talking into the camera.

A tip for future nights of hell braking loose, DONT be at your main place, cause you will have to build it up again and again and again..... have like a "attack house" so your house dont break into the ground. You're welcome 😁
Tip for Mark: Most houses and buildings have really good loot stored in the attic/room (depending on the building). There are also "gauntlet buildings" which are massive buildings (usually factories) that require you to traverse the giant complex, fight through hordes of zombies, and make it to the roof where REALLY good loot lies.
Also, be sure to have lock picks on you at all times. Certain loot containers, such as gun safes, wall safes, ect, will be locked and require you to either break them open (they usually have 2000+ health soooo not fun) or pick them. There's a perk in the skills menu that aids in lock picking.
Last tip: Things like empty cans, trophies, brass candle sticks, ect, can be scrapped into raw resources. This is one of the best ways to get iron imo. You can also mine the ground beneath above-ground ore deposits to find a bunch of ore of that material.

Mark!! Some tips for ya!
- Wooden and iron bars are extremely useful. You can shoot through them. I like to change the rotation and place them around the edge of the roof like scaffolding so I can aim down and shoot.
- Pack Mule and storage bag armor mods can increase your unencumbered inventory space
- On blood moon days, there are 3-4 claps of thunder starting at 18:00 to signal the impending horde.
- Find or make a helmet light as soon as possible. It will make your life SO much easier.
- When your heatmap gets high enough, a screamer will spawn to scout out the place. Black hair, wears a white dress with dark stains on the bottom. If she sees you, she will scream and call a small horde for backup. Don’t give her the chance.
- If you are low on supplies and need to fortify the walls of your base, focus on the bottom two blocks and don’t forget corners.
I feel like this is the episode that Mark realized he should take this game a little more seriously. XD

1: I don't know if this is still a thing but make sure to only store things in containers you build. Premade containers may delete whatever is in them when respawn happens.
2: If you decide to find a new base, Towers are amazing places. Just make sure to fortify them with higher quality material. You won't regret it.
Number 1 isn't a thing anymore, however, if you do remove your items from premade containers after respawn happens, loot will appear in there.

I'll leave some advice for you guys if you are reading. You can get leather from intact cars and leather couches, try visiting some tows and cities. Also, for mining minerals, every time you find an iron, lead, nitrate deposit on the surface, that means that there is more if you dig straight down.

Even 3 years after this Bob's, "I'm X% Umbrella, guys." is still silly enough to make me chuckle every time he says it. Also fun tip for those who are wanting to get into this game, moats are a terrible idea for bases unless their death trap pit falls. If the zombies fall into a place they can't reasonably escape from, like a deeper moat, they'll start a whack'n their way towards you. That means they'll effectively start digging until they are under you in which point they'll start digging straight up. They'll find a way to get to you and digging a moat that isn't a straight plummet to Splatsville is just inviting them to tunnel underneath you. Sooooo good idea in concept, but a very poor idea to execute in this game.
