Husband speechless, wife sobs after a Secret Santa surprises them with new car

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy this holiday season helping a local man gift $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to bless as many individuals in our community as he can.
Jeff is just an amazing person who is kind to everyone. He never complains about hard situations and is always more concerned about how you are doing than himself.
He is 63 years old and works hard to provide for his wife and son. When COVID-19 started, friends and family members were worried about Jeff because he has a history of health issues. But his wife, Tina, ended up contracting the virus and spent seven months on a ventilator fighting for her life.
Jeff drove to Utah on his two days off every week to be with her and he will never forget the day she was released to come home. The doctors said they never thought that she was going to make it.
Tina is on many medications and oxygen and continues to fight for her health. Jeff drives a car that is not reliable and the heater does not work. He never complains and if you ask him how he is doing, his response is, "All the better for seeing you!"

My morning routine: Wake up, get some coffee, start up computer, watch a new secret santa video, cry for 5 mins, feel good, and start work! Bless this secret santa! Changing so many lives!
Hahaha me toooo! But a little different, like i wake up, check the phone for messages from family and friends, then open CZcams and watch secret santa, go downstairs and make coffee. Lol. Secret Santa is priority. 😂

My wife is in her 70s. She is more my little doll than ever. A relationship is an investment that pays more compounded interest the longer it is held. Her health is better than mine, so my mail goal is to look after my health the best I can so she is not left alone. We can just sit most of the morning in the front room talking or just enjoying one another's presence. Yeah, I can see how happy he must be to have her back. Nate has the best job in the world.

I love how he was absorbing it in, and then blurted out “I’m a hugger!” because he wanted to express the gratitude that had been accumulating inside his heart. Bless them and Secret Santa. I lost my wife unexpectedly in October 2020 after 46 years married. I know how lucky and blessed this man feels , And not for the car but it helps.
I am so sorry for your loss. It must be hard to live without her after all these years, but thankful you were blessed to have her for 46 years. You will be with her again.😢☺️🙏

My husband has been friends with Jeff and Tina since they were little. They are as loyal in friendship as they are to one another. Two beautiful spirits. Jeff always closes his phone conversations to my husband with "I love you brother." So sweet. Praying the Lord continues to bless them.
My two favorite comments...."I'm a hugger" and "I don't want to be in trouble, you drive." Awesome. Love it. These two are precious.

What a sweet couple, that was such a blessing to watch. To think the doctors didn't think she would survive, I'm glad her husband didn't listen. They obviously have such a great love for each other. That car was a wonderful gift that will just keep on giving for a long time.

It upsets me the Dr's put pressure him to take her off the ventilator. I'm so glad he didn't listen. And then she said it was an answer to prayer. To Secret Santa thank you for your generosity. i 'm crying now... i'm 66 yrs old, married to amazing woman, 10 yrs older then i am.. i'm very lucky.. she had 3 strokes in the last 5 yrs... but the lord keeps us going, . and loving each other.. so i understand this couple.. god bless everyone and the secert santa.. you make my day

God after what they went through and she walks out wearing a sweater that says "Feels good to be home". That touched me in so many ways. We all should count our blessings and be thankful.

Awe! I love it when they're so happy just for the check for insurance and registration! I can only imagine after all of the stress of her hospitalizations, how amazing it must feel to not have to worry about transportation. This just warmed my heart so much! What a humble man! I'm a hugger too! I love how he talks to and about his wife. This really was an answer to their prayers. Secret Santa makes such a huge impact! We can all do something too to lift others. The world is changed by one kind act at a time!

@@tmp1111 you realize that’s a part of the secret Santa story right? It’s a charitable foundation through locals who nominate people, the cars are written off and not paid for, all the money is raised by thousands of people. The person being thanked is who ever nominated the recipient of the gifts.

This is what I like to see, people who are grateful for receiving such great and expensive gift. Some of your previous recipients weren't as happy as these two are, some acted like they got a box of chocolate, not a brand new car. These two deserve that and more.
I always like to think and hope the people who seem very reserved are just introverts and very camera shy but inside they are extremely grateful. 😀👍

I cry at these not only because I'm happy for the deserving people but sometimes I admit I'm just feeling sorry for myself. They might be in a rougher spot in life but look how much they love each other. I brag about being a happy monk living alone but dang it.. sometimes I think of the relationship I had that failed. Knowing how crazy in love I was with this person and it just didn't work out. I guess deep down I know I really hate being alone & seeing these people who can lean on each other in the rough times shows it can be very special. They are so rich in love & I hope she gets better and the presents help them through this rough time. They are so cute together! ❤ Go d bless them.

My father was on life support in 2010. The doctors told me to let him pass. We declined and he woke up 3 days later. He lived another 12 years and passed away last February. Its amazing that our doctors can be such horrible people.
The man loves his wife! The first thing out of his mouth was “would you like to come in and see my wife”, he knew surely no one would come to see him. Sweet man, I hope someone catches me loving my wife like this one day, and if no one ever does I’ve failed!

I found these videos shortly after Christmas of 2020, one of the worst years since the 2008 "Great Recession." Seeing a very wealthy member of your eastern Idaho area, spreading not only his/her wealth and legitimate caring of the community, but the true heart of someone who hates to see people in their community struggle through this hell we have all been dealing with the past few years. I am so happy I get to see these as they are uploaded and get to see the true expression of shock, bewilderment, and relief that so many people who have nothing to their name but do everything possible to help others not struggle. These are amazing stories , I so wish i could have done this for my husband , He has worked so hard all his life to support this family , Now he has parkinsons ,cancer and two broken bones in his back , yet he gets up every day and go to work , I just dont know how to tell him and show him how much i apprecate what he has done for the family ,

Never listen to doctors who say it is hopeless as she is living proof and doesn't appear to have any brain damage. 41 years ago one of my co-workers had colon cancer and wasted down to 76 pounds until after Christmas a complete reversal. Today he's 83 and takes his great-grandchildren for rides on his boat, just one example.
LOVE it when older couples still call each other those special names such as baby. It's getting hard to find that kind of love anymore.

I really love the way he loves his wife....and is not reticent about showing that fact. They really need and deserve the gift from Santa. It is really touching how Secret Santa always ensures that Nate tells the receivers of his gifts that he really does love them. In many cases. It just may be that the receiver never hears those words from anyone else. IMO, this fact is the most valuable of all the gifts given.
