1500 isn't gonna do much for him. He's only 18, he probably wished to move out because of lack of space. If only they could have done a one bedroom extension, that would have given him a small space and kept him home too.
What a father, he had no trouble to adopt another three children because they already had a roof, no matter how hard they would have to share. He was really worried, his main concern was to be sure all 8 children get food. With love comes great responsibility. What a man this Kevin is.

As someone who is adopted, this made me cry. She has such a big heart. My parents adopted me and my sister since they couldnt physically have kids. We are still a family tho and they have given me so much. My birth mum didnt put me up for adoption on purpose but the hospital i was born at deamed her unfit to take care of me. I dont know anything really about her, but i hope shes safe and i hope she knows i dont blame her for not being ready to take care of me. This video always brings tears to my eyes

I know I’m super late but I just read your comment and wanted to say I’m someone who had to give my baby up for adoption. I was too young and not mentally or financially able to provide for her like she deserved. My deepest hope is that she loves and appreciates her parents the way you do. My second deepest hope is that she doesn’t blame me. I’d love it if she wants to meet me someday, but even if she doesn’t I just hope she’s happy with the family she has. I agree. They opened up their house, their space, their privacy, to take in 3 kids who were soon to be forever stuck in the foster system. They've now got a forever home with people who'll love them forever. All those kids are like they've known each other forever. I'm sure they have their moments like any kids do, but they seem to just fit right in with the other 5 kids as if they're all brothers and sisters, as it should be...no his, hers, or theirs...perfect.

I have struggled everyday for 47 years with a physical disability from a lifelong rheumatic disease, comorbidity and financially. This gives me hope.

This couple is amazing. Not everybody would have taken those children. There are families that won't take children of a family member that passed. These 2 are angels and deserved this.
God made her a foster child for her to do something just as this. This was her destiny. Wonderful people. It broke my heart when her husband broke down. You rarely see men cry, so it was refreshing to see his emotions.

This is my favorite Christmas time story it gets me every year when I see it. I’m not afraid to admit I cry like a little baby every time I watch it. As somebody who suffers with watching their own mom struggle with her health and come close to dying several times this really hit home. Last year we almost lost my mom to a massive heart attack. I’ll never forget her calling me on the phone telling me I need to have quadruple bypass and the doctor says he doesn’t think I’m gonna live through the surgery. I’ll never forget the day before that surgery we sat in that hospital room holding hands doing nothing but crying we didn’t even say anything to each other nothing needed to be said because just holding each other’s hands and crying was enough for both of us to know that we met so much to each other
I watch the news every night and my wife complains because so am always yelling at the TV about the shit going on in this world. Watching videos like this is my escape. It gives me hope that the world isn’t as bad as I think!! God bless this family and all the people involved in making this happen!

This video brought tears to my eyes. It’s so encouraging to know that there are still compassionate and caring people in this world. We hear of so much hate, violence and division lately that it’s so good for our souls to hear stories like these ❤️ 🌸🌷.
I'm writing this comment now as a 22 year old man, I'm gonna adopt children in 10 years, whoever needs a home I plan to open it up I wasnt a foster kid but I was homelss and have friends who were fostered it's brutal sometimes. I wanna help someone.
I was in foster care and went through hell-I’ve cried through this whole video. This woman has the most beautiful,compassionate and giving heart and saved these kids from the system,ensuring they have a family 💖

Such incredible, selfless and inspiring parents. This nearly made me cry, especially when they broke down over the year’s worth of free groceries. Providing that for a family of 10 was likely such a TREMENDOUS amount of relief and gratefulness if you think about how much groceries would cost for such a large family of growing children.

This couple is amazing. Not everybody would have taken those children. There are families that won't take children of a family member that passed. These 2 are angels and deserved this.

God made her a foster child for her to do something just as this. This was her destiny. Wonderful people. It broke my heart when her husband broke down. You rarely see men cry, so it was refreshing to see his emotions.

Good on that family taking in those children. The years worth of groceries is incredible. To feed such a large family is expensive.
This is my favorite Christmas time story it gets me every year when I see it. I’m not afraid to admit I cry like a little baby every time I watch it. As somebody who suffers with watching their own mom struggle with her health and come close to dying several times this really hit home. Last year we almost lost my mom to a massive heart attack. I’ll never forget her calling me on the phone telling me I need to have quadruple bypass and the doctor says he doesn’t think I’m gonna live through the surgery. I’ll never forget the day before that surgery we sat in that hospital room holding hands doing nothing but crying we didn’t even say anything to each other nothing needed to be said because just holding each other’s hands and crying was enough for both of us to know that we met so much to each other

No boo, not just ANYbody would’ve done what you did. As someone who WAS that kid in a foster home, I know that what you did takes immense strength and love. MANY people would’ve given the kids to the system. I hope there’s more people like you out there. I know I’m one of them.
