- A Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!
The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many individuals in our community as he can.
Scott and Twila Kent make and sell delicious fudge. This year most of the fairs and events have canceled because of COVID-19. They have struggled all year with money and have gone through three different cars that have broken down.
All of their children got together and spent $500 on a car for an early Christmas present but the vehicle is on its last legs.
They depend on their car for work for delivering newspapers and Twila also works part-time at the Sugar Salem School District. Scott has Parkinson's Disease and attends boxing class at Apple Athletics Club to assist with his health. T
Scott and Twila are incredible people and Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to go pay them a visit with some early Christmas gifts. Watch the video above to see the surprise!
I would cry just as hard as the people who receive the gifts, I cry everytime I watch one of the the videos. So glad that they receive all these awesome gifts.

People outside this area just don't understand how important a car is here. We really have unreliable public transportation and what we have is slow and expensive. I drive 25 miles to work everyday..when my car was totalled at work Nov 30th this year out in front of my job all I could think was how am I getting home and back for work tomorrow. The guys insurance didnt care. Gifts of cars are huge to people without one here..thanks to Secret Santa for helping people in need
I'm sure people outside the area do understand, I live in Scotland and where I live, we have a handful of buses per day, that is the only public transport, so if you don't have a vehicle, you are stuck.
Trust me, we do. I'm from Morocco, I used to take 2 buses to go to the University, and I had to wake up 2hrs earlier in order to get there. Now that I'm working, I can afford a taxi, but I spend more than double the cost of gas per month, and at the same time I can't afford a car since the prices are too high and the road tax is just too much, and I refuse to finance one.
@@bounaimhamza4792 When I was studying, I also had to take 2 buses to college and Uni, which was over 2 hours of travelling for a 45-mile journey, at that time I didn't have a license or funds for a car. So I moved 45 miles away. Now I have a car, I could do that drive in under an hour.
We live in Devon in the UK. Bus services are not what they should be and hospitals are over an hour away by car, let alone buses which take 2 hours. So many of us understand.

I cried the hardest on this one because it reminded me the most of my mom and dad. My mom passed away 4 years ago. She was the most giving lady that I have ever known. She even gave when our family was struggling because she knew that all our needs would always be met. What a beautiful deserving couple.
I often see the "less wealthy" people give more than the wealthy because they know the feeling of need and appreciation. 💗💗 Hopefully these videos inspire more people to give and share. 🥰💗

Years ago my wife worked at a flower shop. I would always take Valentine's Day off my regular job to help her shop with deliveries. They were completely overwhelmed that one day. Best job I ever had! Everyone is always happy to see you. And even that doesn't hold a candle to what Nate gets to experience.

that's such an interesting thought, I didn't think about that but that's probably true. I just love these they lift me up so much to see other people blessed in such a great way when they have struggled

ppl show their appreciation in very different ways, doesnt make them less appreciative, i cant get over the lady with 3kids who makes cakes, lost her husband and struggling to pay her bills, her reaction just makes my eyes water just thinking about her. I hope she's doing well.

She was so grateful, humbled and a sigh of relief definitely lifted off her, this was touching to see, priceless reaction this genuine lady.
That was an amazing surprise for a deserving couple. I love how Nate just enveloped her as she gave him the best type of hug, he didn't reject her in any way. The is nothing to I don't love about these videos, from a complete stranger changing so many lives with his generosity, Nate being the best person at delivering these well deserved gifts to every recipients humbleness in accepting them. Thank you all for spreading cheer and love during a much needed time!

@@jamesw288, sometimes it's just more important to have the physical support. He doesn't hug every recipient, but she needed it and he was wearing a mask. In general I agree with you though, people shouldn't be going around hugging everyone.

What a beautiful couple, so very thankful & you can really tell both were just taken aback by such generosity. They’re the type who don’t want for nothing & are happy to work hard for anything they need.. but times have been hard on independent / small businesses. 3 years later...this man from Canada just got his health back after a 6 year nightmare. My mom was a lunch lady for 42 years. Met an unspoiled rich kid who knew my mom. I asked him how he remembered my mom. He said he always knew who cooked his food. My Mother Fought Parkinson's Disease Until She Needed
So much Care that Her Husband had to put Her in a
Nursing Home, in Richmond, Va.
She was there for five years.
I Thank God that Her Husband.
Went everyday and fed and bathed Her.
I could not as I live near the Tennessee Line.
Four hours drive from Richmond.
So I was Truly Amazed and Thanked God when I saw
this Blessed Man out Walking Around.
God is so Good to Us All.
Life is Even Better when a Person is Saved and Knows
God. He Changed my Life. I Thank him Everyday.
