    Thank you so much!! My husband used to do these things, so I’m learning how to do 1/3 acre of lawn care from scratch. The last year without him has been a whirlwind of emotions, but your positivity and clear instructions have blessed me today. Thanks again!

      Peace and blessings to you. We have the same story. 😔 I’m learning to navigate in this world without my husband too. Videos like this have helped me with several projects inside and outside of my home. Not easy, but I finally believe that I can do many things that initially I thought I couldn’t. I wish you well. 🙏🏾

      Im so sorry for your loss and the other ladies who commented. I think we women would do well to learn what we can from our husbands while we can. My husband is incredibly skilled in so many ways around building and maintenance. I should be paying attention because as we age we never know what life can throw at us.

    You just SAVED THE DAY! Other videos did not cover this topic. As a senior citizen who just began doing her own yard work, basic instructions that do not assume prior knowledge are invaluable. Thanks again, dear boy.

    Thanks a bunch for showing how to do this clearly. I was putting the string in the wrong direction. After a minute or two it wouldn’t self feed. I had to open it up, extended the line and get back on the job. I was like “ this can’t be right. Who would use a product like this “. Of the videos I searched only this one showed how to spool it right. Now I can get the same job done in 1/3 of the time I used to take before!! Yay! Thank you

    I love that you go so kindergarten teacher! (Not Arnold Schwarzenegger) but you really go to the basics of teaching how to take the battery out I think it’s awesome especially for the new comers to tools if you are never taught how to do it how would you know? Very nice instructional and entertaining. Thanks

    Thank you so much, I used to have trouble doing this correctly. I know it’s because I was not putting the string in that little hole at the beginning. I really appreciate this. It’s a little thing you have thought me today. but it will be very handy. I will no longer need to ask anybody else for help so I can get the law trimmed.

    I have found that if you don't wind your spool evenly, your line can get stuck in the spool and won't bump out. So it takes much more time and patience to wind a spool evenly. I'm now looking for a way to wind a spool without painstakingly using my hands. I have an idea that I will try soon.
    Good video, thanks.

    Thanks this video has helped me. Tired of buying those expensive string cartridges. Bought the string separately to rewrap the spool but it always would stick and not autofeed. Problem was i was wrapping the entire spool full! Did as you have suggested, to just do a few feet and it worked! Thanks 👍🏼

    • @SuperBobby1967

      You pop off the cap the round spool with wire around it and pull gently. Then push back on the spool and put back the cap.

  • @LittleBirdieFlyinHigh

    I did this and the wire keeps snapping and tightly recoiling around the spool. It recoils so tightly I spent ages finding looking for the end. I couldn’t for the life of me find it. In the end I had to pull up a bit and cut it, then unwind the whole thing. I reduced the total length of wire too. But the problem still persists. It’s happening every two minutes. And as I have fibromyalgia and arthritis I can only do a few mins at a time anyway. Any idea what’s going wrong? Thank you in advance.

    This isn’t working for mine, do you have to anchor the thread somehow? When I try running it it elongates the thread and it keeps hitting on the side of the guard thing. Can anyone relate? Any help with this issue?

    • @KB-vd8wq
      @KB-vd8wq Před 4 měsíci +1

      EDIT: never mind, I guess you have to run it for a little bit to get it fully elongated, but then it stops and you can trim without it further elongating.
