    You do not prepare emotionally. You cannot plan it. It is more like a state of mind you go to. I've had to do it on camera a few times, but never prepared in advance. Do you prepare to cry or laugh in real life? No. Same thing.

    I m not agree with the second tip cause an actor can also imagine the situation like having his own Baby and feel about it the same way he observed somebody having a baby

    i just did exactly what you said in this video to act out a scene where ive just been told my child is going to die. i never had a child but i did have to rehome my puppy a month ago and it felt like losing a daughter. used that emotion and just played out the scene for a minute and i was able to express incredibly genuine emotion and body language. thank you for your solid advice and help
