  • In this video, we show you how to replace the injectors on an OM 651 engine, which is shown on a W204. We provide step-by-step instructions on how to remove the injectors, including how to loosen the high-pressure lines and use the bolt or a 3/4" Torx40 bit with an extension. We also explain how to clean the injector wells and apply the special grease needed for the injector.

You don't have to code them, I replace these all the time without coding when I worked at Mercedes

@@joneskey3950 hi Jones maybe you can help with this, I have a p0266 - teach in of the operating parameters for cylinder 2 has a malfunction, tried swapping out injector 2 with 1 and coding them, the fault remains on cylinder 2, compression test was good, engine runs but no power? Could it be the injector wiring loom, I also checked the resistance between the two pins of the connectors for all injectors and all were pretty much identical, also checked resistance between each pin to ground and again al were pretty much identical.
I'm thinking an internal fault in the pcm injector circuit or loom? What do you think? Regards

Hi. Unfortunately in my case it turned out to be a bent con rod. Hence i had lower compression in one cylinder. You can easily check by bringing the cylinders to rev and checking the height of the cylinder using a screw driver. 1 and 4 should come up together and 2 and 3 should come up together. So if 2 is at tdc then it should be exactly the same height as 3 if that makes sense. You can also run a compression test but you need the diesel kit. If you have a scanner with a scope and an amp clamp you can do a relative compression test which is what I did. Let me know how you get on thanks
