Initially deployed in a more advanced role, contrary to his strengths as a Regista, Enzo thrived whenever he played deeper, showcasing his ability to control the game and create from deep positions. Last season, he was among the top 5% in various creative metrics, a testament to his quality, which doesn't just vanish overnight. Enzo remains the same player, and despite his current struggles, there's confidence that he'll bounce back.

We probably aren't going to get an out and out striker this summer because Kai has been performing. The priority will be a winger to back-up Saka and a midfielder -- an Ødegaard back-up and a Partey replacement to partner with Rice (and we extend Jorginho for another year or two). We need to be able to rest Saka, Ødegaard, and Rice.

This Enzo/Havertz convo is so weird. So Enzo shouldn’t be judged for his performances based off his high wages and transfer fee. But Havertz who has a high transfer fee and wages was a waste of money because Arsenal are going to sign another top quality striker this summer? City have Alvarez (who is having a similar season to Kai) to back up Haaland so why can’t Arsenal get a top striker and have Havertz as their #2?
