Agree. Stevie G is a liverpool legend. The fella has so much credit in the bank for what he has done for club on the pitch, that he will never blamed or held accountable for that slip. Not true...once the chelsea game was lost it was city’s to lose, they had a far superior goal difference (we needed +9 if memory serves) still amazes me the amount of people who cite that palace game, we needed to beat them 9-0, we went 3 up, piled forward and blew the game but are u really saying not beating palace by 9 clear goals was the slip up that cost the title? Surely not

Yes his slip may have cost Liverpool the title but only the giant shoulders of Steven Gerrard can take the darkness of that weight and not let it define him.
I truly hope he becomes a managerial giant.
    He bloody deserves it

Steven Gerrard as manager along with Rafa Benitez is the only way man United would start competing again. Besides, the additions of Dalglish, Hansen, McNicol, Rush,Mills and Souneß into the board are a must.

Stevie needs to forgive himself. But I totally understand why he can’t forget about it. The reason he stayed at Liverpool and didn’t go to Chelsea or Spain, was so he might one day win the league for his city. But his lows will push him to amazing highs as a manager. Rangers benefiting now from his hunger
