On TV an author on Fergie said he thinks he may have struggled in today's climate of "more gentle style of managing players?" Somehow I doubt it, he had natural leadership qualities, so he would have found a way. Maybe he would have stayed true to self? But you must be missing his skills?

After Fergie retired I didn’t feel Moyes was the right replacement because I taught Man United would just be a step to big for him , Moyes is a brilliant manager don’t get me wrong but he’s brilliant with Mid table clubs not elite level clubs. our biggest problem is that we have become a commercial club we don’t have a system anymore our dressing room is full of to many egos who don’t care for the badge.
