That can’t be true cause Stephen A was not in high school in 93

      Right. I’m 49 and I graduated in 1993. He’s 56. Something stinks.

Everyone keeps having issues with Jordan but the media keeps putting the problems on everyone else. Barkley, Thomas, and Pippen have all fell out with him but everyone else is the problem

I totally agree, and this is coming from an MJ fan since I was 5. I think he's the GOAT basketball player, but that doesn't mean he's a perfect human being. The very traits that drove him to success (selfishness, competitiveness, pettiness, etc) are the same traits that would prevent you from having stable relationships with people OUTSIDE of a competitive space. There's tradeoffs to everything in life.

False. He did not interview Isaiah Thomas in 93. I graduated in 1993 and I’m 49. Stephen A Smith is 56. He was not in high school in 1993.

He never said he was in high school. He said he was a high school reporter for the Daily news in NY. He was not in high school, he was working for the daily news as a high school reporter. That is what he said. You just hating or misunderstood. He did not lie.

@@ericc551 😂😂 a grown man working for a high school or making reports for a high school. That doesn’t even make sense.

And Stephen A is a Jordan groupie (or Nike told ESPN to make him one) of the highest order.

I wish I could ask Stephen A Myth some real questions

I like that. Stephen A Myth. He is a legend in his own mind while fabricating how close he is to pro players.

  • @BulletBill-yb3ti

Without even watching this let me guess:
Stephen A blamed it all on Thomas while worshipping Jordan, while also making it seem like he was very close to both of them.

Strange hearing Stephen A saying Isaiah is 2nd greatest point guard after Magic when in other clips he had Steph Curry as the greatest point guard over Magic until Jordan texted him to correct him that Magic was the best point guard of all time.

Jordan lied about his dream team take on Isiah and was caught on tape.. proving he is a liar 😂 why hasn’t ESPN fakes spoken on that

    •  Před měsícem +1

Jordan never had control of whether Isiah was on the Dream Team. All Jordan said was if Isiah is on the team I don't want to be on the team. They could have picked Isiah. And, at the time Magic hated Isiah because when Isiah found out Magic had HIV he was telling people Magic was gay. Isiah can be a prick.

"Jordan never had control of whether Isiah was on the Dream Team. All Jordan said was if Isiah is on the team I don't want to be on the team."
So threatening to not be on the team if Isiah was on it, was him trying to control the situation and force the hand of those who make the team. He also had the power behind him to make it so.
Sure on a surface level they could have chosen to keep Isiah and call Jordan's bluff, but Jordan was the Nike - NBA marketing partnership golden boy. More $$$ to be made keeping him and rejecting Isiah and he knew that full well. Ultimately he did control that situation. The "superhero" of the NBA not being on the "dream" team in favor of a "bad boy" especially in the early 90s was not going to happen.
