I work at a movie theater... Trust me... A lot of people do, even at night. It's mostly young couples. Why? Simple. It's not just 'cause they don't want to pay for a babysitter, but it's mainly due to the fact that it's what they want, rather than what's best for the child. They are more concerned for their needs and wants than being an actual family. It's like Judge Judy once said, "Parents should be giving a test before they are allowed to raise children." And that should be a law in the US, but I doubt it will never happen, because SJW's.
This was one of the first mass shootings that I distinctly remember hearing about as a kid... How I've become so desentizied to these headlines anymore is just sad. My boss, mentor, and now one of my closest friends was there that night. She talks about remembering hearing the bullets fly above her head as she was laying on the ground for cover. She remembers the smoke grenades being thrown over her head. We go to a lot of sporting events together now and she always makes it a point to sit on the aisle wherever we go... It breaks my heart. How often now a days we're seeing these headlines and the unwavering mental impact this has on so many people.
It’s now been 10 years since that dark day. I remember my girlfriend at the time was texting me “babe there was a theater shooting, we can’t go there anymore” I remember letting family and friends know I was ok on Facebook and everyone was like, thank god you weren’t there, glad you’re safe. I remember going to the memorial site across the street from the theater. It was so sad and beautiful seeing people come together to remember the victims. Rip to all the victims. My heart goes out to all their families. ❤️
Why couldn't you go there anymore? This made it statistically the most safest Movie Theater in the USA as it is unlikely to happen in the same place again.
@@MrParkerman6 You never know if another sicko might get the idea to cause even more panic by targeting a place that has already been targeted to try and make people fear ever going back to that place. this was something I always wondered someone would do, someone might want to revisit a place that got shot up before to gain more notoriety by shooting it up again by a different person making everyone feel like it's cursed.

I think the shooter got so enthralled with the Joker character that he thought he was the joker and played out that character. It’s the same thing with Hinkley when he tried to assassinate Regean, because he saw the film Taxi Driver so many times that he thought he was Travis Bickle and his obsession with the book the Catcher in the Rye.
I lived in Aurora the night this happened. My dad was considering going to a showing of Batman that night and I had a classmate who's mother died in the tragedy. I was and still am very connected to this incident and I hope that man rots in jail!
I remember watching the news about this when I was in elementary school. I had nightmares and was convinced that the world was going to end. Now I’m in college and gun violence and shooting still continue to exist, in fact in proliferation
I live in Aurora. My sister woke me up, telling me to come into the living room. My parents, my brother, were all gathered in front of the TV watching the apartment video on the news. Next thing I know, we're all calling our friends, our families, our co-workers, telling them we're alright and asking if they're okay. When I went back to school a few weeks later, the first thing the teachers did was have us introduce ourselves then discuss if Holmes should have the death penalty or not.
Straight up brainwashing across the board. That is why my children will never step foot into those indoctrination centers that they call public schools.

My mom told me a story saying that he was taking me as a baby to the movie theater and he was going with some friends to see the movie because my brother wanted to watch the dark knight. But my mom said that it was too late to go to the movies and then this happened. Thank god we didn’t go to the movie theaters❤😟😭
Uh-oh! Warner Bros. Pictures might not be happy about the movie theater shooting in Colorado for the midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises and now this, there's another movie theater shooting in Louisiana.
I remember waking up and seeing this on the news. This was just a horrific scene. I couldn't imagine the chaos that those people and first responders experienced.
Over ten years on, this was so tragic, it really did feel like a Batman villain's or criminal's plot happening in reality. And I give my sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives that horrible night.
actually what we need to seek is tolerance and world peace. Religion actually causes more harm than good. Do you realize how many times, jehovah witnesses and mormons knocked on my door? i don't want to be part of this cult. when a religion starts doing bad things it's definitely a cult. fuck this religious shit. i don't need an afterlife to do what's right. that's toddler mentality. if you are good, then maybe you will get ice cream for dinner. fuck that. if you can't tell the difference between right and wrong, then you are internally fucked up.
Rest in peace those who lost their lives in this. Sending more love and healing. I wish their loved ones the best in life and all the happiness and justice. May these innocent souls be remembered forever , be an inspiration to many and continue to change lives with their strength and bravery for facing this. 🥺❤️

I remembered around when this incident happened, me and my friends were watching this very same movie in amc somewhere in LA. Someone in the theatre was bringing a guitarcase inside but in a different studio. After we got out of the exit, i see a lot of cops outside the theater looking for that guy. This is no joke i thought i was going to be a victim that day. Guns are dangerous folks.
God this seriously bought tears to my eyes.my prayers to those who were injured or killed in this very unfortunate event.and to the families as well.tears started pouring out of my eyes when I saw the man begging to let him kno if they saw his son.so very sad.
This psy op is designed to promote legislation mandating high capacity buildings to have metal detectors, scanners, CCTV Networks, security personnel etc. Companies such as OSI, Inc. will make a killing. And by the way since this is a psychological operation no one was killed or injured all played out by CRISES ACTORS and a lying PROPAGANDA spewing main stream press!
Yep, I'll never forget it. I had just ended my shift at work, and while on the interstate, if I had to guess, about 6 to 10 Cop cars passed me and had to be going around 90+ Mph. A lot of us drivers got behind them, and followed them to within a couple of blocks to the theater. They had it blocked off, and I still didn't know what the heck was going on. I continued to go home, and while going home more, and more, and more cop cars, from different counties, Sherrif's cars, Ambulances from different counties were going towards the action in a hurry. I decided to get Burger king, and still, more emergency vehicles going by. The Burger King staff didn't hear anything either. Once I got home, I didn't turn the T.V. on, but was listening to the Police scanner app, and could hear that they were holding a guy at gunpoint, in the Mall across the theater. He was a Janitor they said. Nothing was even on T.V. yet, I couldn't find any news on it so he must've been still shooting or just finished. About 10 minutes went by, and then I saw the News pop on about the theater. I still have the fresh footage on my VHS tapes. According to THEIR TIMELINE, he started shooting about 8 minutes after I clocked out so that makes perfect sense why I happened to be on the interstate, and see the first responders the way I did. Verrrrrrry eerie feeling, that night.
this is the first shooting i had ever heard about.. i was 11 and didn’t really understand.. a few months later sandy hook happened and i began to understand a little more.. it was heartbreaking for me to learn about these at a young age, i remember my teacher had us make cards for the students and staff at sandy hook 💔
Someone needs to break the record with at least 100 kills. Preferred target: Trump rally or a Republican rally, they probably won't happen anymore but who knows.
me and my ex was supposed to go to this premiere and i was super excited.. we decided last minute not to but family members were there and i woke up the next day to see this happened and i am glad i didn’t go.. ive been to to that Theater after this happened and it feels wrong
Being excited for the movie, and then suddenly this was on news headlines everywhere put a fear into me that I can't shake even now. Anytime I'm in the theater I sit close to the exit and make sure I know my ways out. Not only that but I remember after some time, movie theaters started playing that "report any suspicious activity" and "make sure you know where you exits are" thing at the beginning of the screenings. Even when I was working at Publix at the time, I was helping a customer and a balloon in the department next to mine went off and everyone in the store jumped simultaneously, clearly spooked by the massacre. I'll never understand peoples joy in taking others lives.
we don’t do anything about mental health. we don’t do anything about guns. this just kept happening, and it will continue to happen. i get so scared whenever my family goes out and does anything now, i know deep down one day they just aren’t gonna come back home cause of something like this. i truly hate living in america. it’s like some horrible dystopian nightmare
It was an quiet night on 20th July 2012 when I was watching TV with my dad when the BBC news comes and showed what happened on that day, it was tragic though very tragic.

His son never called. This is the saddest quote I've ever heard 😔
There's a goddamn advert in the upper right hand corner for The Dark Night Rises... "FROM $2.99" Jesus Christ...
iFestivus ya “2.99” because it’s renting the movie
I think it's just CZcamss shitty algorithm
CZcams: ah yes many people were killed while watching this movie, would you like to rent it for just $2.99?
I think the shooter got so enthralled with the Joker character that he thought he was the joker and played out that character. It’s the same thing with Hinkley when he tried to assassinate Regean, because he saw the film Taxi Driver so many times that he thought he was Travis Bickle and his obsession with the book the Catcher in the Rye.
Those movies do influence us so somewhat.
Also his obsession with Jody Foster.
False, he didn’t care about batman or joker
I lived in Aurora the night this happened. My dad was considering going to a showing of Batman that night and I had a classmate who's mother died in the tragedy. I was and still am very connected to this incident and I hope that man rots in jail!
*Prison. You don't go to jail for something like this. Jail and Prison are very different. Not likely to be raped in jail.
Oh my
9 years later and these are happening more often 😢
Over half of them are made up. Shane Dawson proved this.
They forgot to mention Missy Franklin dedicated all of her Olympic swims to the families of the victims.
That was a dark night
Mordecai 38 stop
Why am I kind of laughing?
🤣I’m actually going to hell
Mordecai 38 lol yooo the coincidence!! Excuse my satire
Oh my Lord...
I remember watching the news about this when I was in elementary school. I had nightmares and was convinced that the world was going to end. Now I’m in college and gun violence and shooting still continue to exist, in fact in
proliferation
Dreadful
10 years later and we're still the same cries. These types of events are even more frequent. Its crazy.
I feel like he audition for the joker and didn't get the part so he went on a rampage .
+Mackenzie Lyle wouldn't he, have rampaged the first movie then?
+electronics for fun the first movie didn't have the joker, they had an Easter egg but that's it.
it looks like the audience got some real action that night
Yes the audience are all actors called CRISES ACTORS. PROPAGANDA for the masses all promoted by the lying main stream press!
Kenneth Royer, I know what the difference between what is real and what is not, so shut your fuckin mouth, you pathetic dumbass!
+Tomorrow Comes Today don't call him a wanker. Just say his opinion is bullocks. Lol
By the way, this comment is so hilarious I took a screen shot and posted it in a private group for all of us to get a laugh. Thank you fucking losers for the entertainment!😀
Austin Vasquez I noticed that you replied according to an alert that I received however, I cannot see your reply for some reason. Something must be wrong with G+. If it is anything like your original post or your failed attempt at an insult then I'm not missing anything.
+Rich Kan Ski Bullshit you're covering up the fact you got fucking roasted.
Those officers communicating with dispatch gives me chills
When I was little we used to go to the movies a lot but around 5-6 we stopped and I asked to go to the movies one day and my sister broke down in tears and ran to her room she was 10-11 and has heard about this at school I still had no idea what had happened I didn’t ask to go to the movies for a few years we started to go again a year or so after this but I didn’t question why she broke down and I hadn’t thought about it until I came across this video….and now I understand. RIP to all those people and thank you to anyone who had helped get people out
Imagine surviving one shooting just to die in another. There was a young man who was also a repeat survivor of two mass shootings... this world...
Who
I am in shock after what my mom told me 10 years later. I was in aurora July 20 2022 at the mall. I remember that I asked my mom this was the movie theater that was shot up in aurora and she said yes. Then she told me the day of the shooting we were going to go to the movies the exact same day and time the shooting happen to watch Batman but plans where canceled and we went to see it at bel mar movie theater instead. I am still in complete shock I heard this. I hope the victim of this tragedy family are well after 10 years. I thank god for saving my life that day.
Man thats crazy
8 yrs and 5 months since this !!! And in 2017 I walked in to that theater and they still have police officers inside posted up!!!! And it definitely was an eerie feeling... RiP to the victims ...
My mom told me a story saying that he was taking me as a baby to the movie theater and he was going with some friends to see the movie because my brother wanted to watch the dark knight. But my mom said that it was too late to go to the movies and then this happened. Thank god we didn’t go to the movie theaters❤😟😭
Lucky ❤😢😮
Uh-oh! Warner Bros. Pictures might not be happy about the movie theater shooting in Colorado for the midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises and now this, there's another movie theater shooting in Louisiana.
There was when I didn't didn't here about one in my state
I remember waking up and seeing this on the news.
He literally did a scene from dark night comic book in real life that’s what happened in a Batman Dark Knight scene he just reacted it in real life
To think me and my family barley missed that exact movie and went home :( we are so blessed to be here :(
This still scares my town
I remember watching this on the news as it happened, crazy it's been 10 yrs now. *Time flies*
I’m here … it’s 2023 & thoughts & prayers still aren’t enough 😢
We need to seek God
actually what we need to seek is tolerance and world peace.
THUMPER_AHM shut up
Yeah, because that has worked SO well throughout history...
Zavia Carter stfu
No its all FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE.......
Those poor people. It’s been a long time since this happened and it’s still hard to watch. God bless everyone who was there.
Rest in peace those who lost their lives in this. Sending more love and healing. I wish their loved ones the best in life and all the happiness and justice. May these innocent souls be remembered forever , be an inspiration to many and continue to change lives with their strength and bravery for facing this. 🥺❤️
My deep condolence to those who lost a beloved one there. May all rest in peace.
I can't believe how easy is for a lunatic to get LEGAL ACCESS to fully automatic weapons!! America, when will you understand?
My mom was in this when me and my sis were really young im glad she lived thank you god🙏🏾
My heart goes out to all that were afected by this shooting. :(
And yet we didn't learn one god damn thing from this.
Wow its 2019 and the title of the video no longer applies to this shooting
The Mom or teacher at the high school walking up and hugging that kid, you can just feel the grief. Horrible
Rest In Peace to all who lost their lives. May God be with their souls & families to this day
I remembered around when this incident happened, me and my friends were watching this very same movie in amc somewhere in LA. Someone in the theatre was bringing a guitarcase inside but in a different studio. After we got out of the exit, i see a lot of cops outside the theater looking for that guy. This is no joke i thought i was going to be a victim that day. Guns are dangerous folks.
Been 10 years of Aurora, Colorado's Anniversary. From 2012 to 2022.
Only in usa
USA is still playing cow boys and guns rofl
The Americans still live in the of wearing cowboys hats and killing each other with guns
Really? Cause In Iraq Their Chopping Off Innocents Heads.
I agree horny
Well in other countries they use each other as jump ropes 😂
Crazy how this randomly popped up in my feed right after the Louisville shooting
God this seriously bought tears to my eyes.my prayers to those who were injured or killed in this very unfortunate event.and to the families as well.tears started pouring out of my eyes when I saw the man begging to let him kno if they saw his son.so very sad.
The Dad holding the pic broke my heart. 💔. Then the girl that got killed in her second shooting. God save us.
"Worst in US history"
A decade: "hold my beer"
I know it’s wild how much worse they’ve gotten lol
why do people have to this now people r scared to go to the movie STOP WITH THE GUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@kennethroyer9949 This was not a psyop
This isn't a gun issue, it's a people issue.
Get "the gun" out of it as it didn't do it. guns don't have a brain dude.
Last I checked my rifle hasn't gone out and killed someone on its own. The gun is just a tool, it's idiot behind the gun that we have to worry about.
Thank you James Holmes thank you for your service 😊
why would the reporter say " by the time you got that message she was already dead ? " . That seems like a cold thing to say.
this is the first shooting i had ever heard about.. i was 11 and didn’t really understand.. a few months later sandy hook happened and i began to understand a little more.. it was heartbreaking for me to learn about these at a young age, i remember my teacher had us make cards for the students and staff at sandy hook 💔
it's kind of sad how shortly mass shootings hold the "worst mass shooting" title.
Someone needs to break the record with at least 100 kills. Preferred target: Trump rally or a Republican rally, they probably won't happen anymore but who knows.
10 years ago and it still haunts us. Why is the world like this..
me and my ex was supposed to go to this premiere and i was super excited.. we decided last minute not to but family members were there and i woke up the next day to see this happened and i am glad i didn’t go.. ive been to to that Theater after this happened and it feels wrong
How could anyone cause such violence I don’t understand
"Same old shit dog, just a different day" - DMX
Just sub "shit" with "PSYOP"!
I saw it on the news one time and this was just unbelievably terrifying
For all the victims, friends and family members I'm Terribly sorry 💔 #DontForget #Justice4Victims
What’s with the puns bro 😭
5:40 and 6:40 goddam that is sucha shitty situation
Oh how little America has changed in 10 years.
I was living in Denver when this happened, it was terrifying seeing this all over the news
Why does this feel like it happened last year
Some people are just demons, pure demonic entities in human flesh
After this, I never ever ever thought we’d be where we are today in 2023.
I carnt sneak popcorn ive brought from home in to a theatre, how da fuk did he have so many guns!
Exactly
He never went in the theater. He had someone open the emergency exit, and he was waiting on the other side of the door outside to enter.
Fast forward 10 years....nothing has changed...well, other then it happens every day now.
we don’t do anything about mental health. we don’t do anything about guns. this just kept happening, and it will continue to happen. i get so scared whenever my family goes out and does anything now, i know deep down one day they just aren’t gonna come back home cause of something like this. i truly hate living in america. it’s like some horrible dystopian nightmare
It was an quiet night on 20th July 2012 when I was watching TV with my dad when the BBC news comes and showed what happened on that day, it was tragic though very tragic.
That reporter sounds like trump
I know
Now that you’ve said it I can hear it now
Not really but ok
not the voice, the accent
HeinzKetchapp no he sounds like Bruce Campbell
