While the real life problems of the world, starvation, war, poverty, and the well being of the planet we live on is shelved as non entertainment... I’ve been to 37 countries. I’ve seen toddlers in Africa taking baths in 5 gallon buckets and then come back to America and see a toddler screaming at their parents for some kind of electronic device for entertainment. @@varangiantactical8843 It's not an "either/or" proposition: Cops can respond to school shootings and make marijuana cases, just like they can still write speeding tickets, respond to alarms, investigate burglaries, write accident reports, provide bank escorts, work traffic control, etc... it's not like smelling weed and busting somebody who has it is a time or resource intensive activity. Whether it's a "waste" of said time is open to interpretation, I guess. In my experience, while all people who smoke pot are not criminals, almost all criminals I've ever dealt with who engage in serious crime are moderate to heavy marijuana users. Despite the pervasive myth of the "peaceful pothead", I've dealt with countless hard core thugs (including armed robbers, burglars, murderers and all of those combined) whose primary recreational pursuit is getting high. I can't begin to count the number of stolen guns, wanted fugitives, etc... the agency that I work for has run across because of the smell of pot. You have to think in terms of the big picture, else anything could be called a "waste of time" if you narrow your focus too tightly.
Yes, Stone, let us talk about the big picture. The big picture is there is a national staffing crisis among Police and Corrections. That means that people who are incarcerated are not being properly supervised thus more crime is being committed inside the prison. It also means that there are less officers to protect the public. My department, for example, is short by almost a thousand officers (not an exaggerated number at all). Now, if marijuana was legalized, we could build revenue for the state, strip away a major source of income from gangs, cartel, and other violent organizations. Save on taxes by not having to incarcerate for possession, and utilize the already thin resources we do have in police and corrections to focus on more major criminals such as rapists, murders, etc. It takes me anywhere between 40 to 80 minutes to complete the paperwork on a possession charge. That's 40 to 80 minutes I'm not chasing bad guys or responding to calls. In conclusion, Legalization of marijuana would create jobs, build revenue, increase resource efficiency, and lower taxes.

You seem sure that he would have died. How do you know for sure? The school shooter is very skinny and might have lost the fight. EITHER WAY...it was unfair to the kid to be put in that situation in the first place. Putting blames on others or speculating on what should/could have happened does no good. We can worry about what WEEE should do if we are put in that situation and I say we should fight and try to save lives at least, but yet again....you never know.

@@MeneTekelUpharsin yeah, unless I could see that he had a gun but I definitely know the difference between a fire cracker and an actual gun sound so if I was in one of the classrooms and heard that and people were wondering what it was I would've probably said gun shots and made my classmates get down if the teacher was out of the classroom and I or someone else would've locked the door. Also, I'm sure my other classmates have heard gun shots before because most of them grew up around guns so.

World is getting better bud. I'd take living in this century over any other in history, except maybe ancient Rome... Idk
Yeah getting better. Clearly
@@tommylavilla8105 yeah, clearly bud. No draft, no polio, no Nazi Germany or Soviet Union, and warmer summers so it's easier to get a tan haha
Clearly. Just have millions starving, big dick competitions between world leaders, oceans rising, ice melting, temperatures increasing. A piece of plastic to match every fish in the ocean, animals slaughtered for their horns and tusks, sharks being exterminated. If you think the world is getting better you are oblivious. And my personal favorite. Our “ trending news” usually consist of what a kardashian or Jenner wore to the beach or some other Hollywood degenerate struggling to handle millions of dollars. That isn’t even 1/8th of the problems in this world.
But opinions vary. I guess.

No, they weren't, idiot.
He's being petty, but we are definitely wasting police resources and tax dollars on a plant.
