To the people saying this was a hoax, I lived in Orlando when this happened. They had multiple surrounding roads blocked off for like 2 days in order to process the crime scene. A crime scene examiner who reported to the club eventually ended up retiring afterwards. He was so traumatized by the crime scene.

I live in Orlando. I remember waking up and watching the news with my dad. I was so scared because Pulse is 10 minutes away from my house. If you went outside and listened hard enough you could faintly hear shots. And cops where constantly driving down my street to get there and i was scared. My mom woke up to a text that was from her friend saying that her cousin was shot. My mom was freaking out cause her friends where being affected. Everywhere around there was closed down for a long time. I remember driving to ORMC and seeing police tape. Since then more precautions have been placed to avoid this is the future. The whole community was hurt. I will never forgot that night, I was just shocked. Every time I drive by I remember. I am so deeply sorry for those who have lost people close to them and to those who passed. You were taken too soon by evil. RIP to the victims and officers.🙏🙏🙏

It took 3 hours because the police don't want to charge in there guns blazing and risk more civilians getting shot in the crossfire. If the officers are killed, then there is no one there to stop the shooter. They have to be cautious. It also took so long because negotiators were trying to calm the gunman down so that he wouldn't shoot his hostages. The amount of time this took is normal. They were doing their jobs and following safety protocol. Besides, even if they ran in and had a clear shot of the gunman, even well-trained officers only have a 20% chance of hitting him. Shooting, especially a moving target in a dark area, is wildly inaccurate. Of course the shooter killed a lot of people because they were all packed into one tiny room, and there were a lot of them, so he barely had to aim to kill. Shooting one person, however, is incredibly difficult, especially in those circumstances.

The US police academy teaches firearm training and certification the same way we have been trained to in the military, meaning any officer who is within 30m of him, if they have line of site should have atleast a 50/50 chance of hitting any shot fired, following standard protocol of 3 shots to a lethal target would theoretically give a higher chance of hitting with each bullet that is fired.

I live in Orlando. I remember waking up and watching the news with my dad. I was so scared because Pulse is 10 minutes away from my house. If you went outside and listened hard enough you could faintly hear shots. And cops where constantly driving down my street to get there and i was scared. My mom woke up to a text that was from her friend saying that her cousin was shot. My mom was freaking out cause her friends where being affected. Everywhere around there was closed down for a long time. I remember driving to ORMC and seeing police tape. Since then more precautions have been placed to avoid this is the future. The whole community was hurt. I will never forgot that night, I was just shocked. Every time I drive by I remember. I am so deeply sorry for those who have lost people close to them and to those who passed. You were taken too soon by evil.

It took 3 hours because the police don't want to charge in there guns blazing and risk more civilians getting shot in the crossfire. If the officers are killed, then there is no one there to stop the shooter. They have to be cautious. It also took so long because negotiators were trying to calm the gunman down so that he wouldn't shoot his hostages. The amount of time this took is normal. They were doing their jobs and following safety protocol. Besides, even if they ran in and had a clear shot of the gunman, even well-trained officers only have a 20% chance of hitting him. Shooting, especially a moving target in a dark area, is wildly inaccurate. Of course the shooter killed a lot of people because they were all packed into one tiny room, and there were a lot of them, so he barely had to aim to kill. Shooting one person, however, is incredibly difficult, especially in those circumstances.

20%? I think you're low balling, I'm New Zealand military marksman trained and to pass basic gun cert you need an accuracy of atleast 50% at a range of 100m for rifles, 30m for sidearms. The US police academy teaches firearm training and certification the same way we have been trained to in the military, meaning any officer who is within 30m of him, if they have line of site should have atleast a 50/50 chance of hitting any shot fired, following standard protocol of 3 shots to a lethal target would theoretically give a higher chance of hitting with each bullet that is fired.

These cops in this situation were not that protected, went in a dark room, lights flashing, and still did their job. Meanwhile the officers at Uvalde had more protection, more officers available, better weapons and still pussied out, and what's worse is that children were in danger in that situation.
I just have to say that i believe my mother and nephew received kidneys form some of these victims. My mother got her kidney days After this horrible incident, three days later my nephew receives the news that he too gets a kidney. My mother waited one year for her kidney and my nephew waited two years. Both receive a kidney days apart after this shooting. Coincidence??? I don’t believe it is.
