- For this A Song of Ice & Fire battle report, we're featuring the second of two matches from the Lone Wolf GT that took place recently in Dallas, TX. Daniel and George have both brought Baratheon lists to the fight, albeit with different affiliations (Massey vs. Eldon). The game mode for this match is Winds of Winter. Enjoy!

Rules Corrections:
1. At 1:06:15 I mistook wound tokens for condition tokens and mistakenly thought Daniel was removing multiple condition tokens. He was in fact properly removing wound tokens as a result of claiming the Wealth zone.
Great report as always, Baratheon slap-fights can feel static but the Game Mode and your commentary made it work. Looking forward to the next one.

Expert placement of that palisade, deployment near it, and maneuvering around it definitely played a key role in this battle!
Really nice paint jobs both players. The green on the Renly loyalty side looks great, totally works for those models even though they're Baratheon generic.
Agreed, this was one of the most well painted battles, if not the best painted battle, I’ve had on the channel. Always nice to see both armies 100% painted to a high standard.

Love your videos, do you have a discord server? Also any tips for finding people to play with in a local area? I have never attempted to fined players for any game and its hard 😅
Thanks! I don’t have a Discord for my channel. I don’t think the channel’s following is large enough to justify a separate Discord at the moment. For now I use the other existing ASOIAF Discords, spending most of the time skulking around the main ASOIAF discord in the faction channels I’m interested in.
To find local players, I would recommend talking to the employees of your local game stores and asking them if they’ve seen anyone play ASOIAF or if they’ve heard anyone talking about it. They’ll usually be really dialed into what’s popular. Then I’d see if the local stores have a players’ Facebook page or Discord, and ask on there if any local players play ASOIAF or would like to learn. I’ve found people get interested when they see the game on the table. So if you’re posting about ASOIAF asking about it interest, add some pictures of the game on the table to your post. When the yellow cavalry was attacked in the flank in the second melee round by the green cavalry why didn’t the defender change face to receive the attack from the front? At this point it was unengaged from another facing and had no restriction of this kind.
I’m not sure, but perhaps he did not want to turn and give his flank to the nearby unit of wardens that could charge him. It may have been a decision where he would be just as much at risk either way he faced. Just guessing though.
