Heat and tropical monsoonal moisture - NWS San Diego

This video will discuss the heat wave for the weekend, affecting the valleys as well and then the increase in tropical moisture from the south over the weekend. This brings muggy conditions and scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms during Sunday afternoon could have heavy rain in the mountains and desert slopes. The heat wave builds next week for the deserts resulting in prolonged excessive heat.
