Fun fact, in this fight before he went ultra instinct, Goku was extremely tired and weakened. If he wasn't, he might have not needed UI
He would have needed coz she showed her LSSJ2 after Goku activated UI so she could have knocked him out if she would take him seriously but SSBkk was too powerful for her but problem is KK only increases Strength and speed but decreases Endurance which is how Kefla "One kicked😂" him🙂

I think both of you are overestimating it. Don't forget Goku got a good portion of energy from Frieza after his fight with Jiren so he wasn't completely tuckered out and he had some time to rest. And also, if she had fought a fully rested Goku who knows if she would have been able to rise and surpass him before getting knocked out, and if she did she likely would've just pushed him into Ultra Instinct as she did here anyways.

Fun fact about this fight: Goku entered the fight right after being basically drained empty of his energy. He started fighting them practically on the fumes of his fumes. It’s like racing against two high end vehicles that are freshly kitted out with a better overall vehicle that has less than half a gallon of gas left. Just to add to the flexing Goku does here. He basically smacked them up on empty

Yeeeeees. This was one of the hypest moments of Super for me. As soon as this scene happened, my buddy was texting me, lol. Also I just realized, Kefla was still pretty impressive. When UI Goku zipped behind her, she did notice it and tried to turn around, but Goku was too fast, lol
Yeah, I was binging reaction videos after this one, because this was such an awesome moment. Remember Geekdom making a video about it. It totally rivals Gohan´s kamehameha against Cell for all time greatest kamehameha (except not quite).
This, mastered ultra instinct, and goku raging at black and zamasu for what they did to chichi and goten are probably top 3 Super moments for me

when this aired for the first time in japanese a few years ago, it was never 'autonomous' ultra instinct. It was always just ultra instinct. The American dub specifically added that word in there to make it fill in the amount of syllables 'lip flaps' as theyre called in animation to make it fit what he looks like he's saying essentially.
Fun fact, when beerus stood up and said "let's see what you can do goku" he was looking at goku like he is no longer someone lower than him but someone that is of equal strength. Oh also all the angels are always in Ultra instinct and all gods of destruction are always trying to master it so the fact goku can do it is why everyone respects him

The set up and the way it’s animated. So clean.
Kale the other half of the Fusion that makes Kelfa, is U6's Broly. She is essentially the "Legendary Super Saiyan".
It's been kind of changed up a bit in the Super continuity, but in Z the green hair was described with Broly to be the sign of the true "Legendary Super Saiyan".
The old Legends among saiyans spoke of a Legendary Super Saiyan that appears once every 1000 years were implied to be that green haired form and not the typical yellow haired form.
I think it was Toei's way of trying to explain why so many Saiyans at that point had Super Saiyan when the back lore made it sound like this being was incredible destructive and powerful and the very being that brought about the original Saiyan home world's destruction.

It's nice seeing someone who hasnt watched DBZ-Super before, a fresh take on the anime and its action scenes. The one after this that you should definitely watch unless its already in your line up is Vegeta Vs Toppo.
After the rest of the tournament, I'd recommend checking goku vs hit. It's the first time we see Super Saiyan Blue with Kaioken and it does a good job explaining exactly how it works. Great vid man👍
Kefla is a fusion between Caulifla and Kale, their universe's gods gave them the ear rings before the tournament and Kefla was born once they put on the ear rings, which allowed them to fuse. the reason Kefla's hair is green is because Kale's side of the power, Kale is in a way like Broly, more of a reference to the original Broly. Edited: I also forgot to mention, Caulifla is like the personality side of the fusion, caulifla isnt exactly like a super special saiyan like Kale but... So Caulifla is like I said the personality for the fusion and kale is the clothes and power, kale is basically caulifla with LSSJ on crack.

Fun fact in the manga this fight was between Gohan and Kefla, and Gohan won but he also lost :D they both fell out. So they made Kefla stronger in the anime and Gohan weaker.

Kale/Caulifla have a lot of potential and they can become much stronger though. Caulifla was a genius and she just learned how to turn super saiyan a few days before the tournament. She also able to turn easily into super saiyan 2.
Kale first transformation was... during the tournament. She have the same transformation as Broly, legendary super saiyan, minus the trait of getting stronger as he fights.

1:15 this is called potara fusion. This is my fave technique cuz it creates that thing in my profile picture. I still recommend vegito vs buu (Kia version) or Zamasu vs vegito. Both of them are just too good and fun to watch
You missed how he was dodging the blasts on his way up to her. He has energy balls at his feet that he uses to step on her blasts to use like stairs.

More than a transormation, Ultra Instinct is like a state of mind. Which moves around the perfect understanding of one's body and optimal usage of energy. But, of course, this is Dragon Ball, so they had to give it an aesthetic change.

Also for Green hair that's the Legendary Super Sayain transformation, Its usually a sayain born every few thousand years with unrivalled growing power - its why broly was able to even keep up with gods like goku and vegeta since a normal sayain to them isnt even an insect but less... these guys surpassed the gods before they even found god ki xD and when they met beerus and whis their power shot up to a completly different level.
Also these sayains are from a different universe therefore much more powerful, any sayain from Gokus universe is a complete joke to their universal level
The Sayains form Universe 6 are stronger than a universe 7 sayain with a god transformation... at least the sayains we have seen, but they could also be like goku and vegeta on different levels to their normal race
Aimin, you'll learn this by playing Kakarot but Kaio-Ken is a flat multiplyer on your power based on what level you use. Goku is using Kaio-Ken x20 (assumedly) in this fight, meaning he is 20 times stronger with it than without it.
But it's also risky as Kaio-Ken actively damages your body as you use it. Goku even states in Super that using the Kaio-Ken with Blue is extremely likely to just outright kill him immediately upon activation.
It's a very cool technique that they brought back in Super and I'm glad they did, as it basically doesn't appear in Z after Goku becomes a super saiyan.

"Is Kaioken adding that much to blue ?" Kaioken is literally a power multiplier, the higher your base power is, the bigger it will add, and SSJ Blue being the stronger "base" form, well it adds A LOT :D (other thing, about Kefla speaking too much, every fusion characters like Kefla and Gogeta is also a fusion of the 2 personalities, meaning their ego as well, that's why fusion characters tend to be very cocky ^^)
The two different fusion techniques we have seen (Fusion Dance and Potara Fusion) have some differences between them, the potara fusions only require you to put on earrings while the dance needs you to learn the Fusion Dance.
They both have time limits, Fusion Dance having 30 minutes and Potara Fusion having one hour.
There is a difference between these two when it comes to their time limits, and that is how much power they can use in it: Potara Fusion is one hour but can change depending on how much power you use, so for example Super Saiyan Blue would change the time limit from a few seconds to a few minutes, while the Fusion Dance's time limit never changes no matter how much power you use.
(Correct me if I'm wrong on anything, it's just what I've seen.)

Also I’m pretty sure Gogeta’s blue fusion time wasn’t shortened because they had more mastery of SSB when they fused with fusion dance, rather when they fused with the Potara, and the drain for holding SSJ3 is larger when compared to Blue, correct me if i’m wrong.
@@iainhardy3362 You are probably right about that, SSJ3 does drain your ki insanely fast, so maybe SSJ3 has some special rule going for it, I was mostly thinking of normal transformations like SSJ, SSJ2, SSJG and SSJB/SSJBKK.
But then again, I don't know much on Fusions except for what I have seen, I always thought SSJ3 Gotenks was still 30 minutes and only unfused due to Dragon Ball Z's weird way of keeping time, as a 5 minute match could become like 30 minutes long when we watch it, haha.

Random note: People tend to use this fight to say Fusion > SSJG. But that isn't quite the case. The two girls that fused into Kefla were keeping up pretty well with SSJG in their lesser transformations(which are technically both SSJ2, but... it's complicated). So base-to-base, each of them were stronger than Goku - at least during this moment where Goku was too tired to even risk using SSJ3 for more than a couple seconds. Naturally, that means they can overcome SSJG Goku with a smaller power multiplier.
So the levels of power according to multipliers are: UI > SSJB > SSJG > base Fusion > SSJ3 > SSJ2 > SSJ1. But of course, Fusion can be stacked with _any_ transformation, which is what makes it so strong.
And before people bring up base/SSJ Gogeta doing better than SSJB Goku & Vegeta in the Broly movie, remember that base Goku also did better than God Vegeta in that same movie. The movie does that so they can smoothly transition through forms without one side getting insta-stomped.
Gogeta base and vegito base is stronger than ssb goku and Vegeta. The broly movie and the zamasu battle in the manga shows it. And gogeta in super saiyan is no doubt stronger than ssb goku and Vegeta put together. And Goku in base actually did not do better than Vegeta in that movie.

The initial god boost is different from the stacked god boost. Goku got amped from the ritual due to him receiving extra energy from the other fighters before getting the form.

About Ultra Instinct and thinking. UI's concept is based on something very real which you might have experienced as well. It's called the Flow State, or being in the zone. You could enter this state while doing daily chores, listening to music, gaming, coding, or any other activity you like. You don't experience the passage of time the same way and you don't have to consciously try and focus on what you're doing, it just happens.
One interesting thing I've personally experienced is that if you try to actively enter this state, or in other words, if you think about it, it will never work. You have to let it happen on it's own. Also, even the slightest distractions can break this state. Whis actually talks about it in a later episode.

Regular Kaioken multiplies its power by 2, aka doubles it. So if we keep going from there then x20 multiplies their power by 21.
When they do that blurry movement that looks like teleportation, it isn’t teleportation, it’s their raw speed. The only time it’s teleportation is when Goku has two fingers to his forehead and uses Instant Transmission, but it’s sometimes hard to tell if he’s just moving really fast or teleporting with Instant Transmission because he sometimes doesn’t put two fingers to his forehead. Long time fans are usually able to differentiate between raw speed and actual teleportation.
I remember watching Goku ride Keflas wave like it was yesterday. I lost my shit and immediately checked for reactions to reassure myself I wasn’t over hyping it
In the ultra instinct section kefla still had way more power than goku and it was constantly growing, but his evasion skills were so high that it didn’t matter. If any of her blows had hit him he would have been killed outright

Yes, that's exactly what ultra instinct is the "you don't get hit powerup" which is why I think it's so dumb, cool to look at, but takes out all the stratetgy and risk since "oh his body will automatically dodge and become as fast as needed to do it"
Well it dodges what it can. Shown in the Jiren vs Goku fight, Jiren was connecting with Goku while he was in UI sign. If you’re fast enough you can hit UI. Even when Goku attained the “true” form of UI, also known as MUI, FP Jiren was still connecting with Goku. While UI may dodge on its own, as long as you’re faster you can hit it. Now after some time UI may adapt to the speed of the opponent but for the majority of the fight it will only dodge a couple of blows, ( mainly the slower but more powerful blows).

If you master UI and it dodges *everything* then theres no point in fighting. Whis has mastered UI but he’s not even in top 5 strongest in DBS. As long as you’re faster than it you can hit it

Kale who fused with Caulifa is the Broly from Universe 6. Broly is from Universe 7. But Kale is like the original Broly, which is the evil Broly from the old movies with the bad background story. Everything comes in pairs so Universe 6 and 7 are very similar to another.

For those who don't know, the white guy named whis basically is the servant of beerus and he is the former trainer of beerus, he's an angel and they are the strongest beings in their universe. And whis is training/trained goku and vegeta, that's how they achieved blue. Also ultra instinct is a Form/technique only the gods can achieve and even they didn't master it, but goku basically mastered it but can't use it on will.

also, fun fact, the Silver haired version of Ultra Instinct is a form. this version of it named Ultra Instinct -Sign-/Omen, take your pick is a technique. this is proved in the Manga when Goku used Super Saiyan God with Ultra Instinct -Sign-/Omen. -Sign-/Omen mainly grants the dodging abilities. whereas the Silver haired form grants him those abilities with a much greater increase in power. so to recap. Ultra Instinct -Sign-/Omen with only the aura is a technique, the Silver haired version is a complete form
