  • Let your Ford F-150 hit higher horsepower and torque numbers by installing this Ford BOSS 302 Intake Manifold. Its high-quality design and construction feed more air into your truck’s engine, boosting its power, acceleration, and throttle response. It even improves the vehicle’s fuel mileage, helping you save on gas as a result.
    Built for High-Performance Use. Ford constructed the BOSS 302 intake manifold from a durable yet lightweight composite material. This gives the upgrade remarkable strength without the risk of making your truck’s engine heavy, so you can push your vehicle to its limits with no problem.
    Installs Like Factory Counterpart. Since the BOSS 302 Intake Manifold is designed to fit the specifications of your truck, installing it is a pretty straightforward task. However, moderate mechanical expertise is required to ensure a proper fit. Calibration is also needed to avoid engine damage. You can complete the entire installation in no more than 2 hours.
    Has a Manufacturer’s Warranty. This upgrade is covered by Ford’s manufacturer’s warranty. For more details, please refer to the manufacturer’s website or contact customer support.
    Application. The Ford BOSS 302 Intake Manifold fits all 2011-2017 5.0L Ford F-150 models.

    You should do an install video, because the Boss 302 eliminates sensors and it also requires some back of the manifold modification. Lastly, it also requires a tune.

    Remember the boss intake really only benefits you in the high rpm range. You will instantly notice a decrease in low end torque.

      If you are worried about low end torque, you should've bought a truck with a different engine. I want that mid and high end HORSEPOWER!!!

      If you couple this with a larger throttle body good cold air intake a set of long tube headers into a flowfx muffler with a good tune from Lund. You’ll gain so much more low end torque over factory even with this intake designed for higher rpms.
      Now obviously if you do everything I just said and pass on this intake you will in fact gain more low end torque but not enough to really make a huge difference. And when towing that extra mid to high end torque can actually be what you want. You should never exceed the maximum recommendation for you weight limit with that being said. Anything more than stock will be better overall

    2018+ GT manifold flows better however, the Boss 302 manifold looks so much better.

      Yeah it’s a shame because the gen 3 coyote intake looks terrible.

    I know fairly little about engines, but is there anything similar to this for the 2010-2014 6.2l Raptors?

    When will you guys have more in stock? Really need this part since I’m dead in the water since ford has no fix for the oem manifold

    • @AlexCoughlan
      @AlexCoughlan Před měsícem

      I also have the same issue, I have a 16 f150 5.0 and is throwing an engine code for intake manifold runner stuck wide open and something else and can’t get the part anywhere

    • @kawasaki9254
      @kawasaki9254 Před měsícem

      @@AlexCoughlan so the fix I did was removed the intake manifold. Removed the runner controllers on the back of the manifold. Capped off the ports. Zip tied/saftey wired the runners in the open position. Reinstalled it. Bought a tuner and tune from 5star tuning. Retuned the truck with their tune and haven’t had an issue since. No idea if this is the best fix or how long it will last but it’s been working fine for almost a year now. I still don’t think ford has come out with a replacement manifold yet or not. If you go into the F150 forums you’ll see some guys have had there trucks sitting at the dealer for almost a year. And the parts guys are saying they are “releasing more intakes in 2 weeks” but that’s been the saying for the last couple of years. If you need any help let me know. I know how stressful this whole thing can be.

    • @kawasaki9254
      @kawasaki9254 Před měsícem

      @@AlexCoughlan also, the fix I did was the cheapest out of the bunch. If you have the cash get the Boss intake, cold air intake and the tuner ($1500 or so). you won’t have to worry about anything in the future. If you’re strapped for cash. You can do what I did for 450 bucks (cost of the tuner) and a little elbow grease.

    When it says the intake requires calibration to prevent engine damage, does that just mean it needs a tune to run it?

    Losing torque on a heavy strret truck 2wd or 4wd....not a good idea at all.
    Torque is what street rigs need
