@@HusnainAli-no5ms Just start using, it's not tough, but don't be afraid of command line because if you know basics of command line then you will know how much times one wastes on clicking and double clicking files and directories and have to click 10 times next to install a software. Linux is good for security but if you even need more security means you can be targeted specifically then use freebsd or openbsd, these are somewhat tough to use because I haven't use them much. If you are a windows user and are coming to linux use linux mint, it will be a home for you. I will recommend linux mint above ubuntu for majority of windows users.

With proton and steam linux is pretty much similar in gaming to windows. Linux file structure is better than windows and then with elementary OS, Pop os and ubuntu are really user friendly. Also I think Kdenlive is a very good open source video editor with can work for most youtubers or small time personal editing too (also free).
Then like you said with linux you have other advanced options too but I still use elementary as my daily driver, much much faster than windows and isn’t giving up on asthetics. These days 70-80% of daily use is covered by browsers so I makes more sense to use linux for a faster experience.

During this lockdown, i just switched to linux mint from windows, and installed it on bf's laptop too😅. Dumped the entired windows and then defragmented the laptop. My oldie lappy is somewhat faster now

Nice comparison. But I beg to differ from you on issue of gaming in linux. The advent of 'Lutris' has changed the whole environment for linux gaming. Now I can install many many games, which are available only for windows and are not even on steam proton's support. I have played GTA, Witcher, Assassins Creed, etc. and many other games on linux with very few insignificant issues. I have even played cracked windows games on linux ;). I can confidently say that with because of debian based Linux distros, Linux has been able to reach common people too. We just need to be a little familiar with its working. Linux is the best. I love it so much. Windows is super duper slow compared to it on my 2016 model laptop.

Wanted to correct One thing, at 8:11, you said Linux does not support video editors. There's a software known as DaVinci Resolve which can compete with whole Creative Cloud, since it is an all in one pack for video editing. And, it is available for Linux too
