Yes. But once I switched to a linux called elementary os but I re-switched to windows 10.
my 15 year old system runs so smooooooooth after zorin os, boot time only 25 seconds and responsiveness is on another level.

Linux is super OS for people doing office work, game developers, programmers, security incharges etc and now about the drivers, first of wall which linux were you using?? Everything is manual in Linux. Learning complex Linux OS is tough you should've used Ubuntu, or this zorion, and every Linux OS supports each other's software. Installing drivers are pretty much manual be for hardwares or softwares. I as a hobby/part time do music production and main stream products' drivers are quite literally easy to install. Be it my Mike, Studio monitors, midi keyboards, audio interfaces and I use free DAW Bandwalk but see howsoever Linux is, it's still not mainstream due to Microsoft's and apple's monopoly so at the end of the day to get certain features i have to switch to Mac.

Nice, video. Looks like someone is preaching the true power of linux to the end users. I myself use elementary os, a distro of linux, despite having decent specs.
I have an HP Laptop with 8GB Ram, 512GB Nvme SSD + 1TB HDD and Ryzen 3 3250U @3GHz.
Despite having an ssd and enough ram windows 10 takes too much resources and feels way slower.
Enter Elementary OS.
I am a coder and I run 5-10 chrome tabs, VsCode, Elementary OS code, Terminal & 1080p CZcams video and everything runs way smoother than windows 10.
Also the new Elementary OS has nice gestures which adds more premiumness to it.
I don't do gaming on pc, so can't say about that. But think "A hardware that can't run it's os properly, how can it be capable of running heavy games without lag?"
In linux, Yes the quantity of games is much lower than windows. I admit. But at least it can handle it smoothly without any hassle.
Linux is not so easy to use, there is some learning curve in it. But as soon as you start using it with, you learn more and more. And trust me you won't regret it!
Out of the box you might face some problems, but there comes this vast community that linux has. Any question you might have is already answered or can be asked in the forums.
To sum up using Linux requires some patience. You might face problems but they can be fixed with a workaround. Once you have spent 10-15 days on linux you will feel at home soon😊
i never used linux, i installed zorin os latest core version with dual boot windows 10 , never used win10 again(hehe installed zorin os 2 days before)

Sagar bahi, I highly recommend you to try Garuda linux once and make a video on it. From my opinion it's superior in all terms than other linux distributions.

I have 13 year old laptop Lenovo G550 laptop and it runs really fast today also without any upgrades. Even I can install games in my laptop. It runs windows 7 , bas 10 minute mei aap parathe bana sakte ho itna garam ho jata hai. Isme bahut sari problems aati hai lekin aapne aap thik ho jata hai.

I had previously installed ZorinOS on my celeron core 2 duo laptop which is like 12 years old. Due to the 32 bit limitation on the cpu side. I had to install the 32 bit version of it. It was quite old version as they have stopped the support for 32 bit systems. And in my view it is great for any person using it for personal use. But in my case it had many compatibility issues and then I switched to Linux Mint 18 xfce 32 bit which works flawlessly. Now I am using Kubuntu 32 bit which is also old version but in my view it is better in terms of UI and compatibility.

Garuda Linux try karo. Indian made hai aur uppar se bht sundar hai. Arch based hai to bht pyaara b hai. Dikkat ye hai ki glitches bht hai usme
I compared it's gaming performance with windows 10 (games tested gta 5,csgo, shadow of the tomb raider, grid autosport) and the result was that they both perform pretty much the same. Windows 10 just got 2-3fps more than linux on an average (exceptions-csgo got 10 fps more than linux and tomb raider got 15fps more on win10). But the thing is, not many games are compatible with linux so, it's not a gamer's choice currently. Not for video editing (not adobe premiere or sony vegas).
@Avinash Borah but bruh it has improved it's gaming performance (i remember getting very bad fps in gta 5 than windows). but yeah still not a good option for gaming. Windows 10 is still the best for me (it depends upon person to person)

You could also use zorin os lite on older hardware (like 10-15 years old laptop) which is lighter than default zorin os core

But gaming performance is still underwhelming when compared to windows. Wayy less games are supported as compared to windows. no adobe software(photoshop, video editors), so not for you tubers and gamers😕 No OS is perfect
i used to use zorin os on my old netbook but as it was running slow and cpu temps were high, i installed windows 8.1 on it and it runs fine

I also have a Lenovo ThinkPad T430 which runs Windows 11 and runs very very smoothly. It is a waterproof laptop. I'm running since from 10 years, no lag which other laptops have after 10 years. It is the best laptop I've ever owned. It also doesn't get heat after using it from 2 days. Super Laptop. This is an ultrafast laptop which I've not seen in any new laptop. But it is little Bulky. And also the body is bold that it doesn't get scratches. The battery life is 5 hours after using it from 10 years. I think the Lenovo Thinkpad is the best for business, gaming, educational and personal use also.
After using it for a year, I've finally purchased its pro version.
Before purchasing you should've looked into other distros like pop os ubuntu , elementary os etc.

Main bhi windows user hun 2016 se aur mera laptop i3 processor wala hai.. windows 10 bahut lag karta tha.. maine OS change kia Lubuntu ( Linux distro.) . Bhai awesome heating issue literally 0%. ram usage is 600mb . LINUX based OS are god of fast secure and everything what you need.. Go for Linux !!

Using Linux Mint since 2018. Sagar do cover manjaro as well.
For new beginners > Don't do partition if you are not advance user.... it's a big headache as linux and windows drive format will cause lot of trouble (ext and ntfs don't work well in single drive), just get ssd and install linux and make it primary linux boot drive.

I can totally agree that Zorin OS may be much better than Windows, but the only problem some are gonna face (or at least only I) is that many of the softwares won't be available to download for Zorin. They are very less providers which allow you to download to Linux.

The fact is if everyone switches to linux there will be more and more viruses focused for linux.
Overall I use both win 11 and ubuntu both have different feature sets its hard to say any one bad.
But liux is really light weight, windows uses a lot of cpu and disk speed while linux can go with a bare minimum.
Linux is used in majority of servers and they are a hotter target.... Even if linux get more market share it won't have as much viruses like windows as linux has better security by design.... Also just existence of virus is not enough it should be able to enter the system...... Anyways the biggest loophole in security is the user

I have installed zorin os today and before windows 7 was running o it but after years my touchscreen driver and fingerprint driver stopped working and before 2 weeks my network adapter also stopped working but after I installed every driver started working and also its very smooth now I can program and edit without any problem
