More like Momoshiki, prior to his arrival Naruto took off Boruto's forehead protector in front of everyone after he won by cheating in his fight, if Momoshiki wouldn't have come to interrupt everything things would have end very bad for the Uzumaki family, Boruto in total disgrace to all the village and with Naruto unable to see to his son's eyes for probably a very long time.

14:16 FYI: During the scene where Momoshiki talks to Boruto about his destiny, there Momoshiki literally freezes time just to talk to Boruto. And only Sasuke can see the scene with his Rinnegan. For more details, you can read the manga in chapter 10.

In the manga momoshiki stops time and Sasuke visually sees it because of his rinnegan. Nobody else could see it though.

The remake of the fight for the anime for badass af. Don't get me wrong the movie was amazing but the anime took it to another level.
This form at least makes sense compared to the movie version. The fusion in the film didn't match either Momo or kinshiki

The enemy is vunerable and they stop to have a lengthy talk, it breaks flow and kills the sense of urgency and danger. They also did something similar when Boruto got to have a talk with Naruto about their relationship and Momoshiki and Urashiki were right there

When Sasuke wrapped Kurama with the Susanoo, it wasn't the Perfect Susanoo; it was Indra's Susanoo.
In the manga, when Momoshiki talked to Boruto, he'd frozen time, and Sasuke was able to see Momoshiki talking to Boruto in his mind. With an ability that powerful, it almost seems like he threw the fight. I wonder why that could be?
Katasuke was under Genjutsu. Give the guy a break.
Part 1 of Boruto being Sasuke's secret weapon đ a lot of people always downplay Boruto's contribution but without his Vanishing Rasengan everyone would have died.
As they showed Momoshiki still had some pills stashed away and he had the Shadow Paralysis Jutsu he absorbed from Shikamaru.
So even without Katatske's dumb move Momoshiki would have still trapped and killed them with the Nara clan Jutsu.
The Nara clan Jutsu was really underrated for years.

bruh Sasuke could switch with katasuke/boruto's position with rinnegan
he wasn't out of chakra, later he used amenotejikara 2 times.
More importantly, rinnegan can absorb any ninjutsu but can't do it because he is a side character.
Just for plot convenience, he remained stuck.

(Proof- Sasuke uses the *Deva path* to use chibaku tensai on momoshiki & Madara also uses deva path to use chibaku tensai as meteors)
The path which absorbs ninjutsu is the *Preta path*
Madara absorbed Naruto's Rasenshuriken without touching it with his hand in the shinobi alliance fight.
Pain also absorbed his Rashenshuriken.
So, Sasuke can absorb Shadow paralysis without much trouble, it's not necessary to use your hand conveniently to absorb ninjutsu.

Fun fact: Just like Kaguya, Momoshiki (before absorbing Kinshiki) is all power and none of fighting (in the novels is kinda insinuated he's never actually trained) keep this in mind for it'll matter when an actual fighter comes in the story later
Yea Kaguya and Momoshiki have massive and flashy powers but when it comes down to it they really aren't as skilled as trained shinobi.
In terms of RPG style they are more mages than anything.
I mean kaguya does have 80 gods vacuum attack which can shatter sasuke's perfect susanoo just like Jigen could. So I wouldn't have said she is all power no fighting.

16:00 Fyi, the only person Naruto ever killed, to my knowledge, was the of the Sand shinobi who was working for Sasori and then his body was used a vessel for the Itachi clone that they fought. He destroyed him with a massive Rasengan.
For this episode, I think the studio took 6 months to animate the fight or something crazy like that. The Rasengan moment was handled better in the anime. The movieâs shorter but on parr, fight wise in my opinion.

Yea he preferred not to take lives. New team 7 doesn't hesitate to take bodies though. Non have reached Sasuke's body count yet (if they ever will) but they aren't as soft hearted as our boy Naruto was

@@luceafarul5740 yeah, but that was basically their introduction to the character. They had no idea what kind of a person he was, given that they hadnt seen the anime canon. His behavior after being attacked was clearly different, but only with that in mind. For all they know, he may just be that crazy about scientific ninja tools.
Yea Katasuke is way to important to the leaf to ever get rid of him.
Plus he is such a supportive person to the young lord that I won't be surprised if something happens to him in the future.

Part of the reason the animation was so sick on this one is the creator basically called in favors there is a video online that talks about an interview with him. He managed to get award winning animators from several popular anime and a bunch of other properties if I am remembering correctly, for the rough animation and they broke up this entire episode into different parts and animator was responsible for those parts and then they blended them all together for final animation. That's why the tijustu looks so good, and also imo there was a deliberate nod to Dragon Ball with the way Naruto forms his rasengan.
The creator basically said we can do better than we did in the movie and he wanted to make this episode extra special so he called in a favors and put the bill for the budget on this one episode.

there were no animators of dragon ball in this ep lol. Chengxi Huang did call a lot of pro animators, but the thing about sections is similar to any anime episode production, there is no special technique or management. standart stuff.
@@EVAKOI I went and looked in my history on CZcams and I found the video I was talking about but when I tried to watch it it says the video has been removed... So there will probably some factual errors in that video. Thank you for bringing this to my attention I looked up the video the animator and the director that you mention and some of the information from the video I saw is in there but you are definitely correct their were some differences in the list of animators. In The manga, its different. Momoshiki stops time instead of talking to boruto in his mind while sasukes rinnegan remains unaffected and keeps recording the events

The start of Boruto's growth as a absolutely OP monster.
This was so much well done than the manga, by a tons but both the novel and manga really show how strong Momoshiki is and how Naruto and Sasuke is so much stronger than their teen self, by a ton. This may seems like they are using full power BUT remember, Sasuke was fatigued and not a 100% cover after the fight in the chunin exam stadium yet and Naruto got his chakra sucked out for 6 hours straight.
Naruto killed the guy named yura, the guy who was pretending to be itatchi. The first time Naruto used the Odama rasengan

Yea Kataske is great. Dude does great work for the leaf and I love how supportive he is of Boruto throughout the series.
You dont need to turn down the volume, just put another soung in the edition to mix with the anime music, and the video you can use the original ep, but it cant be stationary, the video pop up must be moving on the screen, that way you wont get any strike

Carson you have no idea hoe many animators came for this 1 episode... just search for it! This was was MUCH better them the movie one I don't care what anybody says.
You should care. Cause movie animation was done by legendary Norio Matsumoto (his cuts are actually pretty close to anime quality) and Arifumi Imai. For anime they actually used several Imai scenes from the movie (mostly with Kurama).
About animators... Well any anime uses a lot of animators, what so special about that?
If sasuke gets the hashirama arm he should be able to awaken the rinnegan I guess he doesnât want to might make sense down the lineâŠ. Also he needs sharingan to stable the chidori

When Sasuke dies, Kabuto is the one who revives him. Kabuto literally says that he is doing some *tinkering with Hashirama cells*
The fact is Sasuke's chakra potential is low, that could be the reason he got only 1 rinnegan
Headcanon- As Sasuke receives rinnegan due to kabuto's influence, hagoromo gives his 6-paths chakra which gives 6-tomoe in his rinnegan.

sasuke would literally unlock the rinnegan in his other eye if he took the other arm. we cant allow these two to keep getting stronger. i mean he could also just grow another arm using the mechanical path but we need him weak in boruto.
He won't get another rinnegan though xD even with the other arm. In shippuden,Kabuto pumped him with Hashirama cells and which is why he was able to get the rinnegan, though technically the SOSP gave it to him(his eye being obviously special than a regular rinnegan, that's where the SOSP comes into place).

Sasuke is still one of the strongest characters in Boruto but obviously he will get surpassed as he and Naruto use outdated power sources.

Gotta say in English the characters don't sound good at all. In Shippuden I Iiked Madara and Obito. Madara especially is perfect in English. Everyone else in this franchise is mediocre or bad in English. Rewatch this in Japanese with subs it's night and day the difference

Mitsuki's arc for instance is absolutely vital do develop and explore a vital member of team 7.

@@stevenviljoen160 I mean I did watch all of boruto because then I didn't know much about filler but boruto is one of my favorite animes and the manga is like top tier but the fillers kill the vibe. Take the cho cho arc, mirai arc or the mitsuki arc those weren't even all that important the only important "anime canon" arcs are the time travel arc, the prison arc, the kara actuation arc and the 2nd chunin exam. I suggested a way for one of my friends to watch the show and he understood everything perfectly so idk what your talking đ€·đŸââïž. A next arc was that current war arc that ended I tried so much times to watch but the writing was bad and the animation was worse that's why I dropped the anime but I still read the manga since I think the manga is a solid 9/10. So now I'm just waiting for the code actuation and the manga canon arc.

The writers of both the manga and anime say they are Canon.
You don't need to watch OG naruto to understand Shippuden but that doesn't mean it's not Canon.
The arcs exist to develop and explore characters that are important to the world of Boruto.
Mutsuki's arc is used to explore Mitsuki as a character, his will, choices and his relationship with Boruto and Sarada.
But of course Mitsukis character doesn't matter to the Boruto series.
Remember how in the manga Sumire just appeared out of knowhere one day and started taking up Manga panels?
Now if only there was a place we saw her backstory and why she matters enough to characters and plot to take up precious Manga pages.

@@snap_Y Naruto had most of his Chakra drain literally seconds before the fight, and Sasuke used teleportation which he's said drains him, Sasuke prob has more but Naruto is def crippled in this fight. It's not to say fused momoshiki is weak, just naruto and Sasuke are that much stronger then they used to be.

The anime only arcs are Canon and used to develop the new Gen.
The same new Gen that the story revolves around.
You might think that the Manga is all that matters but the writers of both the Manga and Anime disagree.
Word of god > your preferences.
The Last is also Canon and isn't in the Manga.
The Manga is not the be all end all of Boruto.
