doesn't taste as well, unless you really look up good recepies and then it takes a lot of time to make. Also ingredients on average (good rule of thumb when starting resturaunts) is to make food costs 1/3 of sale price. So 1/3 cost probably more since you're not getting the same prices they are, around half price?-ish maybe a little less but then you have to cook it. May not be the best for your health but if your goal is weight loss learning to count calories and understanding your daily needs is pretty much all it takes. • @ifstatementifstatement2704

Intermittent fasting is the best diet I have found that makes me feel the least hungry and the most full. Also the most strength, muscle retention and energy, even when on low calories and protein. It is even easier if you drink sparkling water (without sweetener) during the fasting period. Which is something I heard Kinobody say in one of his videos. I have done it and it's true. What I have noticed also is if you reduce your calories again, you still get the same benefits mentioned previously. It's like your body regulates your hormones during the fasting period and adapts quickly, no matter the caloric intake or food, and you don't feel hungry. Also it is so much better to not be thinking about food all day long. Personally I eat one big lunch at 12 pm and dinner at 6 - 7 pm. In between I drink tea with milk. Then I fast until the next day 12 pm. During the fast I drink sparkling water, black tea and water. Sticking to non-processed/healthy food during those two meals, makes it even easier to fill fuller and full for longer, and eat less calories.
Regarding heavy weights, I have found in the past 16 years since I started lifting, they give the best results. Personally, I increase the weight whenever I can do more than 6 reps on my last set (third set). I found this gave me much better results than doing a high number of sets with less weight, or higher reps per set with less weight. And also increases strength and muscle mass much faster.

This vid convinced me to give Greg's diet a try.
Thus far I'm really happy with it. I've changed some stuff:
    1) Eating more before the big meal. You said yourself that Greg doesn't really do sh1t in the AM so him expecting people who work a 9-5 to go until like 4PM before eating...yeah not gonna happen. I'm typically eating about 600 calories before the big meal - Oatmeal, Fruit and Greek Yogurt. I'm also bringing the "post popchips" calories forward into this time
    2) I'm making the Big Meal at home to save $$$, though I have done the Chipotle thing a couple of times. It's f****g awesome.
    3) I don't do the chocolate bar anymore despite it being so delicious. On this diet I want desserts with more volume so I've been doing relatively low-cal ice cream, protein shakes...sometimes both. Just 500 delicious calories as a nightcap to tide ya over until 1-2PM the next day.

Works because you're in a deficit and people like his sort of new take on IIFYM. Obviously if you're barely eating you're going to be in a deficit, and lose fat. And people see that you can eat chipotle and choclate bars and get shredded so they all hop on board. Intermittent fasting really doesnt do much except give you a reason not to eat and gives you a goal to stay in a caloric deficit. You can wake up and eat, 6 meals a day of low calorie, high protein dense foods and still get shripped and lean in a deficit without spending as much money and being hungry. Because eventually you will get hungry and pull a stephanie buttermore.

I wake up @7:15am every morning (coffee @8am, 11am and 1pm). Would typically break my fast with the banana or apple around 2-2:30pm and then I'd be good until 5pm. I would then go with the Pop Chips but this is where Greg and I differ. He would have the big meal here. In my opinion having the big meal closer to bed with the higher protein makes me feel much more satiated going to bed. So I'd have the Chipotle bowl around 8-8:30pm. Then I'd finish off with the chocolate bar anytime between 10pm and 11pm. As I mentioned in the video, I would pair a protein shake with the fruit when I do this again. Hope this helps!
