Have you ever wondered where Richard Hammond answers his emails? Back at the start of the year, Richard took us for a tour of his rather rudimentary office at The Smallest Cog. Thankfully, as the second series of Richard's TV show has developed, the office has morphed into a much nicer space, including a new DriveTribe studio!

Thanks for watching guys, we hope you enjoyed the tour! Also, you can watch the new series of Richard Hammond's Workshop in the UK here: bit.ly/Richard-Hammond-YT-H4
Nah
I do wish your business much success. The show is well put together. So whoever is working on that is, at least, mildly competent. 😉
If I lived in jolly old England, i'd probably bring my own car over for some work. But I don't, so i'll have to content myself with watching the show instead.
I would like to, but you haven't made it available to the US. Thoughts?
Umm the designer pases by hammond aproves plan. Gc is given contract and hammond bla bla bla. Boys downstairs. That's the show
I have been doing that and I've been loving it so far!
Hammond is one of my comfort creators, love his stuff, grew up with topgear, and his old cbbc shows
Braniac was the best one for me quality 👌😂
I'm a relatively new fan, but he's my fave. They could make a video of this man reading a newspaper and I would watch it.
Clearly Richard is letting us know he spends more time in the vehicles than the actual office 😄
The way it should be

Not enough hay on the floor, no windows or bars on them, where's the wheel? What kind of hampster habitat is this? His owner has obviously done her best to correct these errors and the hampster has taken notice (03:45).
E: 04:54 Oh sh... 😱
Bring in James. He'll have your things sorted by color name size shape brand you name it in a few days
It's just so encouraging to see very successful people dealing with the relatable minutia of renovations in progress. Furniture unassembled, things stored in totes on the ground, doors that can't open all the way because stuff has been packed behind it, thank goodness these things happen to all of us!
Well obviously
This has all the energy of Richard explaining why some monstrosity he's built on old top gear, is actually brilliant. I love it.
We need to see a video each of Jeremy visiting the Cog, James visiting Jeremy's Farm, and Richard going to James' Pub. People who have been watching the trio can already imagine what it will be like reading this comment.
love the model car railing. such a fantastic idea.
Richard, I sent you that engraved Series 1 Land Rover cog on one of the desks. Great to see you never just binned it and you kept it! That made me smile! From one Land Rover man to another.
You could say, Richard gave us a... Grand Tour of his office...I'll see myself out.
Series two is excellent even better than the first. Great fun to watch
Not sure about the mice and rats !!!!
still cant watch it in the Netherlands :(
@@blackitgameplay3548 get a VPN my friend
Honestly, i think the drivetribe Room still works for discussing things with clients, looks nice enough...
Please bring the show to the US!!!
Love the vibes and videos of Richard hammond and the smallest cog produces
that full size model car railing thing is the absolute coolest thing I've ever seen
It's really unpleasant that we who live not in the UK have to wait for the show to trickle down to us somehow at sometime. Anyway, looks exactly like every single workshop I've been to. Half done and waiting right time to finish with things piling up on stuff. Proper thing that.
It's a shame, I have Discovery Plus in the US, but it didn't include this. Cancelling next month as i don't care about a load of 90 day fiance shows, but I'll likely just end up pirating this after waiting 6+ months for season 1 to come to us. Oh well, you dropped the ball Discovery+ UK.
back to pirating..
@@benjy6358 Nah, don't want to do that either.
@@unusedaccount6200 it’s on CZcams btw
@@qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm3937 I don’t think so, just trailers at least in Australia.
The posh meeting area is just wonderful let alone the conference room.
I LOOOOOVE those rails! Talk about flashbacks to building plastic models in high school!
thank you Richard🤗
Thank you Richard for always providing content for us, much appreciated
Somehow his office is very early 90's and I love it.
The rails are beautiful
I'm binge watching all of top gear from season 1 - started last week and I'm up to season 7 now. It's my entire teenage memory lane so far 😅👌
It's coming on great.
I've just 3rd series episode 7. I love your show Hammond. This show makes me motivated.
Its a great show thanks Richard.
The Morgan got written off in a flood?! Oh no that is so sad, was such fun seeing it come to life
This is one of the few times I've watched a DriveTribe video and didn't feel envious in the slightest.
Like, like, like... really interesting!!! Thank you so much
Wish you the best of health and happiness, wealth
In the last episode of the show I watched the handle on Richard's office door detached itself, so I hope his office is soon completed 😄
Love The Hamster!!
I love this video so much ❤️
If you're going to rack that area for parts of cars, you might want a forklift and a loading area at the from of it that has a slide gate for safety so the boys can load stuff on a pallet, fork it up, and one of the others can unload it from there instead of walking them all up and down stairs.with the parts, limiting risk of damage to parts and injury to the workers. You'd also want to ensure the flooring can support the weight over extended periods.
season 2 is awesome
Love the Airfix Kit sprue railings!
Season 2 gonna be a banger
Your finest work Richard 🙏🙏👍👍
Them taps could be used for Clarksons Hawkstones and the other for May's Gin ! 😂😂😂😂
In the next episode Richards shows us around the cupboard under the kitchen sink,
Yes😃
What a wonderful video mate from Oz 🏁💙🇦🇺. Keep us updated . 👏👏👏
We love you rich!!!!!!!
Love the window in Richards office “Richard Hammond is not to buy or store anymore knackered cars in the workshop. Signed. The Management”
very nice, all the best to the team at 'The cog'..........
It's all progressing nicely and will be fantastic when all is complete. Nice one matey.
Love this
Requesting 'Richard Hammond's Workshop' show to be available for streaming on Amazon US, Please !!
Progress takes time but your slowly getting there. Your doing well a great job keep it going
Love your work 👍
Great tour. 👍
Oh, even a picture of Jeremy 9:18 . He looks very focused. Does he have a hammer in his hand? 🤣
Anyone else notice the lotus on the job board??
Apart from that love the look of the workshop and plans!
Love the channel 🙂😀
I like the bunsen burner table, pls keep it. that is giving an impression of utilizing everything to its fullest
I really hope this all works out for you Richard, et alia. Enjoying the new programme a whole helluva lot ! :) Fingers and everything else crossed for all the new work to start flowing in to " The Smallest Cog". :) :) :)
this should be a big hit.
9:17 it´s nice to see Clarksons portrate in Hammonds shed ;D
Highly recommend watching Richard Hammonds "The smallest cog" it's a great show!
Hi Richard Hammond I was wondering if you have thought about actually selling the railing on your smallest cogs website. I’d personally think you would sell a-lot of them even more so if you and your team sign a select amount. Hope you like this idea 👍🏻
The memories when I see that engine table 🥺
Awesome stuff
Love the show it reminds me of the show Orange County Choppers show you the ins and out of a business with some humor and sometimes fights 👍🇳🇿🇬🇧
Those Bunson burner taps should be hooked up to the Tea, Coffee and Gin piping. Leaves a spare for Tonic too.
I'm pretty sure that the glass table in the drive tribe office is the one from top gear. The one that they used for the news.
Love the chaos look to it
that table in the posh waiting room looks like the table jeremy built for an TG episode... did know hammond was sentimental about TG! lol
You've always been my favorite of the mighty trio.
2:50 they are re not connected to the gas, but they can be connected to a gin bottle later.
I'm loving series 2 so far but I'd like to see some more actual work being done on cars in S3
insanely unproffesional setup. i'm impressed
Hi Richard!
I am very disappointed we are unable to watch it in Australia !!
Honestly your rails are pure cool art. Come back to visit the USA, Hammond!
Ok! Carry on dear fellow!
The Top gear table❤
I wish it aired on amazon in Canada like it does in the uk…
Would you say this is…
*A GRAND TOUR!*
How'd you lose glass? It's probably just really really clean
Those were rails xD I thought Hammond was building an oversized model kit.
We want your show on the USA .
still waiting to see the first season Australia, so won't be able to see the second. We will have to get by on previews until it get here, if ever
The word 'mezanine' implies a structure higher than 3 feet. In the states, we would refer to that as a 'deck'.
I say it again, bring it the the U.S. on Discovery+!!!!
Real shame you can't watch it in the USA. Would love to watch the program over here! I am even a Discovery+ subscriber.
I wish I could watch Workshop in the US.
I would follow the link to watch the show if it were to be made available here in the US.
0:02 Hey look, they put some hamster wheels on the front to make Hammond feel more at home. Cute!
That table in the Drivetribe studio reminds me so much of the one from the old Top Gear set.
Probably the same one - property of the BBC?
Criminally early, love you hamster!!
love the channel...
Love you Hammond, but MORE May please! PLEASE!
Yes me and my dad where just talking wondering if there was going to be a season two
Really wish i was able to watch the show... Hope to see it one day on Prime video or my country's Discovery +
You could make part of the work top mechanical so that it raises and lowers
Was hoping to see plans for a river of gravel, cascading majestically down to the office
Make the show available in the US please!!!!
I love how DriveTribe and Chimp just made themselves home in his spaces and he’s “fine” with it.
T.Y 🙏🙏
Really enjoying the smallest cog on discovery.
I have the same problem with worktop height in my stockroom. I need it at kitchen height for sorting stock but I also need to use it as a desk. Problem is easily solved though by buying either a bar stool height chair (cheap option) or a draughtsman’s pneumatic chair (expensive option, especially as that type of draughtsmen are rare these days).
