  • It's Show of the Weekend! But a little bit different, as we attended the Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California, where we heard about Apple Arcade and some other new things. Plus, we got some hands-on time with the new iPhone 11, and had a look through your comments!

This week's Show of the Weekend isn't on a purple sofa, but a bench in Apple Park, as Ellen and Luke had a sneaky look at some of the new gadgets and games coming from Apple. Plus we read through your comments and have a disagreement over flapjacks...!

I didn't even think about this until now, but it's super cute. Anyway, the youngest of my many brothers used to have a 6-foot tall glow in the dark penguin with night vision goggle called Phrosty as his imaginary friend, who he was absolutely certain existed, and the only reason the rest of us never saw him was because he went to the moon every day using the cardboard box used for the hamsters cage delivery and only came back at night whilst everyone else was asleep. He actually made his Dad put out some of his clothes for Phrosty one night because he was sad that he didn't have any of his own.
Anyway, I thought someone would find this cute.

I’m so happy that Simogo are finally getting some real press coverage. Their horror game, Year Walk, is an absolute master class in storytelling, visual design, and atmosphere. It’s one of my favorite games of all time and it’s such an underrated gem. Device 6 is a phenomenal puzzle game with an amazing aesthetic and great story. Sailors Dream is an extremely simple and yet beautiful game that tells a very compelling story and has some great music. Beat Sneak Bandit is a fun and quirky rhythm game that visually reminds me a lot of Night in The Woods. All of these games are really good and all of them deserve more recognition (but mostly Year Walk) so if you have an iPhone please for the love of god play more of their games. Year Walk is also available on Steam and WiiU.

I have no recollection of a childhood imaginary friend, but my son had one named Krinkwalker that was a wealth of entertainment. My boy would tell me all these stories of crazy adventures, and his imaginary friend was always mischievous and he would try to stop him. One day though my son sadly reported that Krinkwalker had died when someone threw ice cream at him. Although a week or so later he had made a full recovery.

I can't explain to you how happy I was when Ellen started reciting the lyrics to the Danger Mouse theme song. I'm 36 from America and somehow my dad showed me Danger Mouse when i was little and i still love it. Oh eck, Oh fiddle, oh crumbs.

I have to admit, I was never interested in watching gamer related CZcams, but your humour is fantastic (and so very British) that I follow your channel, Outside Xbox and Eurogamer, plus Dicebreaker of course, and love everything I can watch. Thank you.

My imaginary friends were Mr. Nobody, who was sort of a green oval with arms and legs and wore a red hat. He sat in the centre seat when we went on car rides. There was also Mrs. Squeaky, who was a mouse dressed in a sort of victorian night gown and cap, and she lived in places that looked small because of perspective.

Not so much an imaginary friend but the imaginary place where they were was a high fantasy elvish kingdom called "dragon d'or".
needless to say, the last oxventure (out of order) brought back some old memories of sword-fighting -air- orks with my brother in -the garden- the mighty battlefield

My first imaginary friend was named Joe. He was a halfback for the Saints and was basically invincible, could win any fight, date any girl, was filthy rich.
Me and my sister eventually had a fully fleshed out universe for our imaginary friends and family (Joe, John, Bobby, Wooby, Sooby, and Charlie)

Ellen’s explanation of crunchy flapjacks was darn helpful. I’ve had those Nature’s Valley bars plenty of times. They’re not quite as bad as Grape Nuts breakfast cereal, which I’m convinced is leftover gravel from construction sites, but yeah, they can be hard on the teeth.

Three or four year old me had my older cousin draw a character from Tiny Toons. I got mad, sad, and cried when they wouldn't hop off the paper to play with me. Imagination failed that day xD
