9:28 God Comparing this to that EFX Helmet is night and day, So happy I missed out on all those "Direct molds/ "Laser scans" that were touted last year, especially when I see they obviously didn't get the ESB Helmet. meanwhile this is the real deal.
FYI, the "Gino" mentioned on the video is the guy at eFx that cast the screen worn ESB helmet, which RS's master was pulled from. If you go to TheDentedHelmet and dig around, you can find the murky history of it all, but in the end basically between Disney buying LFL and then Anovos getting the rights to "wearable costume replica helmets", eFx are somewhere closer to a Sideshow Collectables thing. So essentially, the Boba helmet got nerfed. This would have never happened if eFx was faster at approving and manufacturing though, which is evident at stuff that is still years behind.
@@CaptainFettCosplay, I believe the helmet Aurang is speaking of is the EFX PCR helmet. As you said, Anovos has the costume replica license while EFX has the prop replica license. EFX never planned on releasing a direct SE hero and I doubt Disney/LF would even approve a helmet with all of these details.

Boba helmet was not really on my list, not because it isn't, cool, just that there was others that excited me more. Having seen this I can say I am genuinely excited about this and may have to reevaluate. Great job and some awesome news.

He recasted a cast of this one, then cleaned it up to make the FPH2 if I remember the sequence
Great! I´m speechless. You mentioned the ears and right now you offer the helmet with resin ears on your website, but you mentioned a metal ear set. Did the original helmet has resin oder metal ears? Will the metal ear set be an upgrade for the helmet? I want to order, but I´m not sure if it is worth waiting for the metal parts. Thank you!
I'm more hesitant to order it painted. Just because the idea of it being a mold with all those details is so cool.
The Original helmet had machined ears. Our kit will ship with resin ears, so it is a complete kit. We are working along side a company who will offer machined ears to match the originals and fit our helmet.
