Recieved my Raw Cast today. You all are Fantastic. I cant stop looking at it, shocking that Jeremy passed only an hour after recieved it, making the helmet carry a whole new weight. I cant help but get a bit saddened when I look at it because of his death. RIP Jeremy Bulloch the Original Bucket Head.
It's like seeing it in IMAX instead of on VHS tape. That piano job is absolutely stunning! And your feelings about lineage are very warranted. I think we're all with you on that. You guys are the best!
This is Darren (DW Design Studios). I built my ESB Fett back in 2002 and was lucky enough to be chosen by LFL to be Boba Fett for the Rose Parade. I’m still in the 501st but am really not involved much in the forums anymore. Sounds like someone leaked Gino’s casting and selling it on the forums? That really sucks, sadly recasting has been going on forever. But Gino obviously has given RS the rights to sell there version. I’m going to buy the kit version and leave it unpainted. I think it will be the centerpiece of my collection. Thank you RS and Gino for offering this piece.
I’d love to see a video of Jon painting this helmet set to soft classical music. Watching him paint for these few seconds is so relaxing. A total artist.
A quality three and half minutes of soapbox rant, valid in all points...I nearly made a 'purchase' elsewhere, but am I glad I found you guys. Very rare these days to find companies that actually give a toss, to which R.S deliver by the vac-load. The Boba helmet by the way is "f**king awesome!" 👌
I have a RS Prop Masters Stormtrooper "Hero" Helmet, and it's the best money I have ever spent. Never buy inferior goods, as you will always regret it.
Had the order form for this lid up and almost complete until the 10th Anniv. HDPE announcement. I guess I'll have to sell more blood plasma to get the Fett too. I love that this is hand made by artisans not some cheap Chinese sweatshop. eFx and Master replicas always let me down and had excuses about "production" problems. The proof is in the pudding. Well done. At-At hint!!
If you care about accuracy and lineage, RS is great. If you care about having a white suit at a good price, RS is still a great suit. If you want cheaper, then expect cheaper.

Could you possibly do a comparison between the ANH Stunt and Hero helmet? I'm considering buying one but I'm not 100% sure on which one to pick yet. I love the shape of the stunt but i love the bubble lenses of the hero
You make awesome looking stuff but you are a bit arrogant about it yea? PS: i might still buy this Boba Fett painted because it will look amazing. Just some constructive feedback. I also watched the Hasbro and EFX review. Same feedback. Hasbro is 120 euro. They’re for younger collectors for instance and parents they might wanna buy a Xmas or birthday present. No need to absolutely trash them and hype up the own product that you’re selling. Anyway, rant over, amazing product this one guys!
I think Rob was more speaking to the 4th 5th .... generation helmets out there that were hinting at being closer to original than they are; and ones that may have had some link to a production version, of which there were a handful, but are now so heavily worked there's not much save the general shape left.
