Thank you very much for making this build video. I haven't been keeping up with parts for a while now, so getting back into it and looking to build an entirely new system was a bit intimidating. With this build, I'll finally be able to play games with friends and not have to worry if my system can handle it.
Glad I could help!
Considering the outstanding quality content we receive, this channel is really underated
Thank you! We are growing fast and really appreciate it (:
Really is, deserves more subs for sure. He’ll get there soon with content as good as this
Agreed I’m surprised he’s still under 100k subscribers
Agree. Super underrated.
@@PCBuilderChannel hello I would like to know where the power sw cord goes, I'm at a loss and need your help.
Found your channel a couple of days ago. Really informative and easy to grasp. Keep on doing your thing. Would love for you to talk about APU's since the current situation makes it hard for most people to buy a GPU.
I did speak to them on a Q&A a couple months back (just before they launched, probably the July Q&A). They have their own issues - no PCIE 4.0 (not a dealbreaker), less L3 Cache (lower performance when you get a GPU). But check out my answer in that Q&A. I may do an APU build or parts list in the near future too. Hope that helps!
@@PCBuilderChannel that definitely helped. Thanks a bunch.
Just love this channel having discovered it a few days ago, have watched about 12 videos so far, such useful information. I've been out of the building PCs business for over 15 years (so since the bambinos were born) and am enjoying this channel immensely and I've made copious notes, Jason as I do need to rewind sometimes and it can be difficult to keep up with how fast you talk (all good though). Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much for the fantastic feedback! I actually started the channel because I had taken a break from pc building and returned to find everything had changed. I thought, "wouldn't it be great if there was a channel that helpful me catch back up?" and here we are! It means a ton that it is helping other people (:
Aww yeah, the channel's name works perfectly well with this video. You gotta do more part lists too, in consideration with the current market of course
As the market improves I definitely plan to! I've held off in the very dark times. :)
Man that’s one clean looking build, love the AIO
Its really cool!
Found zoomer omg
What a difference 10 months make, just picked up 5600x for $175 us. looking at 3060 rtx 12 gb now under $500. Great video Jason, gaming in 2022 is getting better!
I was waiting for this
Us too!
Thank you a lot for all of your hard work!! After 6 years I finally have the chance to get my own pc. I bought a pre-built one and can't wait to use all the knowledge I've gained from watching all of your videos!(For expanding my current pc) Keep up the grind Sir!
Awesome! Best of luck with your new pc! I hope you love it.
As an early subscriber (around 1K subs) it's great to see this channel building and building.
Thank you for coming with us on this journey! We truly appreciate it
Marvelous build, especially with the black and white style!!! And a cute cat!!!
Thank you! Yes we love this pc. Its still my main gaming and streaming build and it sits next to me in all my videos. And the cat is the true star of the channel (:
Great build and thank for showing the game results as well. Lots of places will just show the build and that's all. Well done!
Glad you like it!
This is actually crazy, I just built a PC almost identical to this one a couple months ago. My case, RAM and cooler are different brands, but the rest is the same. I love my new PC, works great, I highly recommend it. Good build!
Very cool! Thanks!!
What gamed you playing
Just been picking some parts to buy over the past month for a new build, and your video appears. Literally EVERY part was identical, i'm convinced this is fate! Thank you so much, can just use this as a tutorial for my build!
perfect! And best of luck with your build!
@@PCBuilderChannel got all the parts and built it today, all gone together great and the bios flashback worked fine. Only problem I'm having now is that I cant boot to windows, so I think I'll need to use a usb and do a clean install. Sad to lose everything but nothing too major
@@BeanieBiker what games you playing
@@bryceh3026 bit of everything really, atm I'm playing forza horizon 5 and The Witcher 3 mostly. Although I played games like Doom Eternal and Days Gone, and they look so damn nice with this build

Thank you!!! :) Hello Jon!
That's a really nice build Jason everything looks really good.
I love how it turned out!
Excellent video: You've truly inspired me to build a PC again after almost 15 years of not touching any piece of hardware. Quick Q: What set of tools would you recommend to buy, for someone that hasn't build a computer in 15 years? Once again, thank you for the excellent video and please keep them coming !!
Just won a 3070 ti on Newegg shuffle so I can finally start building my pc. Thank you for your videos for all the great information!

OMG. Thank u so much. I'm definitely gonna use this build for my pc.
So glad we could help! We love this build.
been here since you had just a couple hundred subscribers, great to see you grow!
Thank you for sticking with us! We really appreciate it
These are the videos I live for
Building is getting fun again!!! :)
This came at a great time for me. I've been penning up a 5600x build as my first custom rig for the better part of a month. Your videos have really been helpful the whole way through. I'm considering penning up an Intel build as well and then picking team red or team blue when I've got it all laid out.
Glad I could help! Good luck on your build! Intel is a very viable option right now at the more budget level!
@@PCBuilderChannel If you're still hanging out in the comments, will you look over my build and offer any comments or advice?
Early Considerations:
1) I want an AIO with an LCD screen
2) I want Gaudy RAM
3) I want a 2GB NIC
4) I already have the case (Below MSRP)
5) I already have the GPU (MSRP)
Build:
- Ryzen 5 5600x
-NZXT Kraken Z63 280mil
-Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX Mini ITX
-G Skill Trident Z Royal 16GB 3600 CL16
-T Force Z440 2TB NVME
-WD Black SN850 1TB NVME
-RTX 3070 FE
-SSUPD Meshlicious PCIe 4.0
-Cooler Master V SFX Gold 850w
-Noctua A14 fans (x2)
Late Considerations:
1) The MOBO lacks a USB-C header, the mobo is the part I'm still back and forth on changing what seems like every week. I go between the MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte and cant seem to settle on any one because I'm not crazy keen on individual shortcomings of the boards; if the Gigabyte had USB-C it would tick all my boxes.
2) I am considering two PCIe 4.0 gen drives because at the time of my picking parts, they were only like $20 more expensive and future proof (?). The 1TB for everything but games, the 2TB for games only.
Thanks if you made it through my long winded spiel !!
That list looks pretty good. I do want to put out that I don't do SFF builds so I'm not the expert on them. I like that case! There's virtually no differences between the B550 ITX boards, just get the one with the features you want (like front USB C). I think the Z440 Gen 4 drives are a good option if you want Gen 4 or super fast Gen 3. Check to make sure the Z63 fits in the case with that GPU. Hope that helps!
@@PCBuilderChannel the Z63 does fit!
I'll take another deep dive on the B550 boards. My initial hangup was I didn't like the idea of active cooling on the mobo but I think I'll live with it so as to not have a dead USB-C port on the front IO
Cheers mate. Hope your weekend is safe and relaxing!

Great video
Damn. This is the build I'm going to build. Looks like I can just watch this video for a guide. Thanks
Glad we could help and best of luck on your build!!
going to build it too, thanks
Its a great system. Really powerful and balanced for not a lot of money, if you can get a graphics card for close to msrp. Good luck guys. I hope you can get a graphics card for a good price.
@@facestabber Thanks. I'm not in the market for a gpu until things come back closer to normal. I have a 2070 Super that I got new for under $500 in early 2020 right before covid hit, so I'm good for now. It would be nice to get a 4000 series gpu, but ill wait until 5000 series if I absolutely have to.
Hows the build
I've had my 5600X and B550-F Wifi combo since the November launch and it's been nothing short of a powerhouse. You can certainly get a cheaper motherboard but it's worth getting one with very capable VRMS that have plenty of cooling. Yes it's an expensive B550 board but the reality is the X570 version doesn't offer any useful advantages.
Exactly this :)
I’m just a random guy from Hong Kong that saw this video and just brought it as same as possible from the list. Now all I can say is that I’m glad that I found your channel👍🏻You help us more than just boost our build and even different mistakes that beginners didn’t notices.I really did learn a lot man thx
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching (:
I love how you put so much efforts, I'm completely new and your videos have really help me. Keep it up
So glad we can help!
Hey, Jason! I really love your videos and they've helped me get back into my love of building PC's. One thing I wanted to ask you is what do you think of diagnostic readouts on motherboards like on the ASUS ROG Strix B550-E or on the GIGABYTE B550 AORUS Master? I've have one on my current motherboard and it's helped me out so much. I'm shocked to see the prices of motherboards that include this feature compared to ones that don't, and while I don't think that this is the sole reason for their increased price range, I'm sad to see no motherboards that include a digital diagnostic readout on anything budget related.
I apologize if my comment is a little long winded, but I'm really hoping to find a great motherboard for my 5900x that includes this feature. Please let me know what you think and keep making great videos! Thank you!
Not necessary but can be very helpful. B550 Steel Legend has one but sadly not bios flashback. I just received one and it was not Ryzen 5000 ready. Again, mostly that is a feature for people who want to get heavy into overclocking and the troubleshooting LEDs on most boards are sufficient for regular builders. Hope that helps!
This is almost exactly the build I'm planning
Go for it!! :)
I got the cpu, motherboard. I got a 360a phanteks case, 3070ti, seasonic 1000w psu and corsair rgb pro 23gb at 3600mhz.
The Phanteks cases are the best bang for buck high airflow cases around. I love the P400A and P500A digital cases, just because it makes decent argb fans affordable. Corsair LL and Thermaltake Riing Quads are probably the nicest rgb fans on the market, but omg, they charge an arm and a leg for them. Its just too much extra money for just lights in fans. It would had cost me an extra $400 to get argb fans from Corsair for my O11-Dynamic build, and that is ridiculous. I could had moved up from a 2070 Super to a 2080ti for what the fans would had cost. Rgb strips are cheap enough and don't require me to sell one of my kidneys. No way rgb fans are worth more than better hardware and performance.
Honestly just get the Corsair pre built I got the one with a 5600x and a 3070 for 2199$. Basically the price if you built it.
@@samuelgarcia783 you can get a much better aio with the money you save building it urself :)
I built this same pc for my son a year ago and it’s still going great thanks for the video!!
Love to hear it, glad we could help! Thanks for watching :)
Bro I love your videos are the best
Thank you!!
Hey, the alternative build is pretty much the same computer I built last month, minus de GPU .
Here they're asking for as much as 1400 USD for a 6600XT or 1800 USD for a 3060 ti.
I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.
Yikes! Hope GPU prices near you improve soon!
I got a 3070ti for £769:99 om Ebay.
Just paid 2500 for a rtx 3090 no regrets
@@Gipsydanger03 bruh you could've gotten a 3090 ti with that price
750w might be overkill for a 5600x 3060ti build, but it is great for future proofing so you don't need to buy an all new psu
I bought 750w for a 5600x 3060ti build… for how long is this good for? Meaning, what’s the maximum gpu and cpu I can use in the future if I plan to upgrade..?
Love your work Jason my brother. Love it all
Glad you enjoy it!

Glad you like it!!
Would you consider live streaming the build and then putting up the edited version later? I love watching them live and I think I’m not alone.

You have a chance of being able to buy a gpu at 2x msrp? 😂😂
These are wild times for sure!
Nicely done in 10 minutes. Been watching your 'Best' videos and buying various components over the last few months until finally got my hands on a 6700 XT. I'm ready!
Thank you for watching and best of luck with your build!
Whats your build
Loved this! Very much what I’d have gone with if I could afford to wait for GPUs to lower in price. Would you please consider doing an APU build. Or a build list vid featuring APUs? The parts shortages are getting ridiculous in the UK and I’d love to see how you’d pair a GPU when they eventually become more widely available.
Thank you! And thanks for the suggestion
Personally I'd scale back on the MB and CPU cooler and upgrade the GPU, in my opinion this would give the most bang for buck for gaming. Very informative video nonetheless.
Yes more GPU is always better!
Good stuff Jason, as always
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Some of the parts match what I want. Thanks for adding this video

Thanks you for all your videos. You make a very good job. I hope will have more subscribes.
Thank you very much!
Great video, I set up a similar build last August based on a 5600x +zotac 3060 ti, except I used the B550-E for having the usb-c port, as my case was a define 7 white/black (found at discount) and used an air cooler (noctua l12s). It works awesome with all my game library, the only problem is that now I feel like changing the monitor to better enjoy this build, so more money to spend 😅
Congrats on your build!!

Thank you heaps for this video Jason! I'm in the process of building my pc and I pretty much chose the same components besides the mobo and case. Chose the Asus TUF Gaming b550m plus wifi with the Thermaltake v250 air. I just wasn't sure what gpu I should settle with. At first I strongly considered the rtx 3070ti but then after having a look at the rx 6700xt I quickly jumped ships but I just wasn't too sure if it would bottleneck. After watching this it's definitely made me feel a lot better about my choice in components. Thanks again for the video! Love the content and love the enthusiasm!

do u have discord, i wanna see the end product
Im going to copy and paste it, save already 👏 👏 👏
Thank you so much for this! This will likely be my next PC build!
Quick question.. Can it handle ultta wide screens for gaming?
Depends on the game. Some titles at 1440p Ultra will be easy, but something like cyberpunk or MS Flight Sim will be tougher. Could go up to a 3070 or 3080 to guarantee it.
Hi! Awesome content! Watching this and other of your videos I decided to build my own 2 days ago. Im using the ML240L v2 ARGB, but I have a doubt. I also positioned my AIO fans with the logo sticker facing the CPU. With that orientation, are they supposed to be functioning as intake or exhaust?
If you are talking about the logo sticker on the back of the fan that is the direction air will come out of. You should be able to test this by sticking your hand in front of them with them plugged in. You want the fan blowing the hot air out of the case
Just built my first rig and it is VERY similar to this one! Was able to put a 3060 in it. great performance and Didnt completely break the bank! Great vid as always
Thanks! Congrats on your new build!!
is it this?
A little late to seeing this video. It is fantastic and super helpful. Love the content. I actually built my setup in March 2021 and I have almost the exact set up. I have the same mobo, cpu and gpu. But a air cpu cooler (my cooler master aio died after a year.) 16GB of ram, and a 650w power supply. I’m running on 1440p now. Any recommendations on what I should look on upgrading this year?
We are build twins! This is the pc I have sitting on my desk in all my videos. Honestly its still going very strong, but you could upgrade the GPU if you like to something like the 3080 level. But I'd only spend the money if you are unhappy with your performance.

@@PCBuilderChannel i hope its runing well then my cpu right now is a fx 8300.
Nice build. Personally I’m not a huge fan of that case for none water cooled builds as there ends up being a lot of space. However I can see the advantage of using it as you would have that option later. I went with the Strix B550 e gaming so I could get a usb c header and I got it for the F’s msrp, it seems to be regularly on offer so might be worth mentioning. I see a lot of questions in forums and Facebook groups around using a fan hub (specifically mixing fans) and setting up and syncing RGB across brands. Could be something you could cover in a “from beginner to advance builders series” or “changes to a build to improve rgb syncing”. I liked the pacing of the video, but I wonder if there is an opportunity to do some detailed shorts around connecting up fans up, cable routing advice for the case you are using or setting up and syncing the ARGB. I think this would add significant extra value to the viewers, myself included 🙂. Hope this doesn’t come across as negative as I do really enjoy your videos.
Thank you! Congrats on your build, sounds awesome. And thanks for the suggestion! We appreciate the feedback
im happy to have a pc already but damn that looks sickk!!
Thank you!
Wow, I forgot just how bad prices used to be. I'm glad this was still up, it makes me so happy for what I purchased and what I waited on. Tonight I was able to pull the trigger on a Radeon RX 6800 refurbished from newegg for $369 to finally pair with my Rysen 5 5600X. Thanks Jason for all the best content on what people on a budget need. 8/18/23
I know right? So nice to see things getting better. And glad we could help! Best wishes with your build
I already built this pc like 6 months ago for 1800, before video card. Thanks for the salt in the wounds YT. For this random channel suggestion now!
Well... congrats on your build though!
My ryzen 2600 just went boom so im grabbing the TUF version of this motherboard and the 5600 with 32GB 3600mhz RGB RAM and a corsair h100x rgb 240mm how far the technology has come ! Cant wait
Thats the exact same gpu I got my nephew. It runs all of his games and even every vr game we've thrown at it flawlessly. It's a beast
Awesome!
Some Good content here:)
Thank you! :)
Such a great video. Thank you, This really helps people like me, I wanted to go with that Ryzen 5 5600x CPU but I don't think I can do the bios flash.
You'll be fine flashing the bios! Not as scary as it seems! See my video on how to do it.
@@PCBuilderChannel It is my understanding that if it isnt flashed perfectly it will ruin your motherboard? Does this not happen a lot when it is first timers doing it? Thank you.
The BIOS flash isn't as scary as it seems but I was nervous my first time too. Don't let BIOS flashing hold you back. His videos are very helpful on it, and he mentions different motherboards that have the BIOS flash button. I just built my first PC with the MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk motherboard and it had a BIOS flash button so it was super easy. My only issue flashing was it didn't like my flash drive. But grabbed a different one and it worked right away. Easy.
