So, question for you guys. I went from 16gb of gskill aegis 2400, CL17, to 32gb 3200 corsair vengeance LPX CL 16 for a Ryzen 7 3800X on an msi b450 Tomahawk max. Should I have stayed with Gskill or is corsair better?
@@SirHeadly84 nope, the LPX from corsair vengeance is hynix, have a bad overclock standards and the latency is bad. Sometimes this model have issues for a classic XMP OC. You would check a b-die or e-die chips

Both Cpuz and HWInfo64 report the Ram/Die Manufacturer is SAMSUNG, Now unless CORSAIR can mode those chips to read SAMSUNG, and not MICRON, or SK Hynix, ect... Then I have SAMSUNG dies, regardless of whether you believe it or not. Free tip, Chief: DRAM manufacturers often go with either whomever has the best price, adequate supply for their needs, or BOTH .

It doesn't matter, the frequency matter along with the CL latency
Get a Ballistix stick 2x16 @3600 mhz for a good upgrade, the hynix chip sucks for AMD
