Illegal immigration needs a multi faceted approach home affairs without border patrol without proper fencing without proper sea patrol along our borders. We probably have millions of illegal immigrants unfortunately law enforcement is overwhelmed with crime. Ideally 1 start with Border infrastructure to stop further illegal immigrants. 2 Increase border patrol personal and equipment like vehicles Helicopters patrol boats. 3 Stop corruption by equipping cameras on Border patrol personal with audio have independent bodies go through footage. 4 Deal with illegal Immigrants already inside the country by setting up a team dedicated to rooting out illegal immigrants which will be incredibly difficult and time consuming. Maybe we need to use Apartheid style stop and ask for ID documents everywhere put into law anyone doing business or transacting with an illegal immigrant is liable to a fine a jail time. Too much needs to change and it definitely won't all come together in the next few years.
