  • Newly appointed Minister of Home Affairs, Leon Schreiber, has prioritized improving the processes for work visas, which he believes are critical for economic growth. Businesses have long complained about the delays in obtaining work visas for senior personnel, which has constrained economic growth. Schreiber also aims to address the visa backlog and tackle corruption within the department. Join us as we discuss these initiatives with Vusumuzi Sibanda, Chairperson of the Africa Diaspora Forum, to understand the potential impacts on the South African economy.

Rubbish. There aren't many Nigerian doctors registered with the HPCSA. We have an issues of fraudulent doctors from the continent as well. South Africa has qualified doctors that are not being placed in positions. Many of the foreigners coming into South Africa are not highly skilled. In fact most reports showed by as early as 2011 majority were poor and of low skill. Next time get a South African that will not give a biased perception from the likes of Vusimuzi who has quite a checkered past in South Africa.

Sibanda it’s seems you have a personal vendetta against the previous DHA Minister Motsoaledi and we know why. You are deliberately distorting the facts and disparaging the good name of the Minister. South Africa is a sovereign nation and we will draft laws and amend laws as we feel fit to protect our sovereignty and citizens. The days of regulating illegal immigrants who do not qualify are long over. The new bill that seeks to change our laws went through all the correct processes and consultations. There is nothing illegal about it and what we as South Africans seek to do is none of your business as a foreigner. I would advise this channel to do better and maybe get an actual South Africa and not this bias mess you push to your viewers.
