- British Airways Trip Report flying from London to Warsaw onboard one of the British Airways A320 on a rainy autumn afternoon.
A comfortable flight with British Airways from London Heathrow to Warsaw Chopin airport. The load factor was around 40-50%, so we could enjoy a lot of space per passenger.
On this flight, we tried for the first time the "new" catering service by British Airways, which luckily is completely included on the ticket. I think it's obvious that as soon as the travel restrictions will come to an end, they will recover the pay-per-eat service, but in the meantime, it's very nice from them.

Great video! Interestingly with such a light load an intersection departure was possible, which of course saves time. ✈️
Yeah! And no only saves time, but also fuel! Jet engines consume a lot of liters per minute of taxi :)

Nice one, as always! I was surprised to see some smaller planes (I thought I saw a Pilatus) on Warsaw. International airfields ar usually the domain of big airliners.
Well, if the owners of those planes pay the taxes of these big airports, they are usually allowed to use them. The pint is that they are usually so high that nobody wants to pay them :D

Enhorabuena por 50K 🎉🎉🎉 Seguro que este vuelo fue bastante cómodo, a pesar de las circunstancias de la COVID 😷😶 Particularmente me ha gustado el anuncio del piloto antes de despegar. Así se debería hacer siempre - me refiero a la cortesía inglesa 🤩🥳 Espero que pronto volvamos a volar de modo normal, aunque esta vez te aseguro que ya no vuelvo a subir con LH Group por lo del servicio catering, de FR ni hablar! 😋🤣

The recovery is already starting! The airlines expect around 50-60% this summer compared to 2019, and it will get to 80% in autumn! :)

The plane was lightweight so it intercepted the runway half way through 27R as it only needed little runway for take off

Awesome report! I need to fly on these older A320s, they honestly seem better than the new NEO. Really sad how COVID has made BA bring in more value for the price, oh well..

Yeah! It's something that I can't understand... but it's great. While almost every legaacy airline cut the onboard service to save costs, BA stopped the buy-on-board service to give some snacks included on ticket. Nice from their side :)

I have been on this service back in August 2020, I never knew it was this new 😅 A320neo From LHR and on the way back unfortunately an A319
I'm looking forward to th UK releasing the crazy travel restrictions... I want to fly again with Jet2, TUI UK, BA... viewers of the channel love those airlines but at the moment it's impossible to travel with them =/
Also, I would like to try Loganair for the first time :)

In those places, it's forbidden to make any video or photo. That's why they never appear on my videos.

Buen vídeo, que sucederá ahora con los aviones de 2 pisos, dado que el 747-8 es la última versión y el a380 no tuvo el éxito esperado? Tengo entendido no hay más producción de a380, será el final de los modelos de 2 pisos?

Emirates ha dicho que no piensa dejar de operar los A380 al menos durante los próximo 10-15 años... así que tenemos A380 por muchos años.
Respecto al B747... no se de ninguna otra aerolínea que no sea Lufthansa que los vaya a seguir operando.
Sería posible poner a título informativo la fecha del viaje y precio del billete?😉😉
El precio del billete varía para cada pasajero... depende del numero de billetes vendidos hasta la fecha, el dia de la semana en que vueles, los servicios a bordo que solicites...

Me ha parecido un buenvídeo a pesar de no tener buenas vistas como a mi me gusta, el avión se ve elegante y confortable la cabina y quisiera preguntarte porque retiran los Boeing 747 que es un avión que me gusta es por quedar obsoletos. Támbien quiero resaltar que te colaste al poner Bye Bye London y abajo Hasta pronto Madrid, igual estabas pensando en eso ja ja. Un cordial saludo.

El B747 fue un icono del siglo pasado, cuando para cruzar el Atlántico sin restricciones se necesitaban mínimo 3 motores (preferiblemente 4). Hoy en día los motores son tan fiables que aviones de sólo 2 motores pueden llegar a estar a 240 minutos de un aeropuerto utilizable en caso de emergencia (ETOPS, por si quieres Googlear un poco al respecto).

Hey. On last week thursday I fly on LOT BOEING 737 MAX 8
from Kraków to Warsaw and with me there are 3 People. For domestic flight isn' t good but why MAX??? When I book flight status is : Odpered by De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q series 400. Psssss.... In August I want to fly to Barcelona next drive with stops to Seville next flight back on Vueling to Barcelona next fly on Vueling to La Coruna and on Volotea to Bilbao and back.
I have good sugestion for trip report. Fly to Pantelleria. There isn't any trip report about flight to this island. Good night.
