Great concept,. Miter bars for Tiny sleds or useful sleds at 4 times the price. Best video I've seen on why not to buy.
The ZEROPLAY has been around for 10+ years and sells very well because it works. This is a new, improved version.
As far as larger sleds go, the videos show using two bars either one in each groove, or two in line for deep cut sleds.
@@Microjig I bought the old "zero play" bars and perhaps we shouldn't refer to the old unimproved version as zero play Ralph

Any difference between the black and the green?
The old tooling (injection mold) had worn out over time, so when we needed to replace it, we took the opportunity to make some improvements.
The biggest improvement is that by changing the location of so inserts, you can set and adjust the new ZEROPLAY (green) from above the sled without needing to remove it.
What is new and improved about the miter bars ?
Ken, The big difference is that the new Miter Bars (green) are mounted to your sled first, THEN adjusted to fit the miter slot. This makes it faster and easier, but does require the three extra holes you see in the video.
The new bar can be reset from above without needing to remove it if you move the sled between machines.
The less obvious change is that the adjustment range has shifted. The new bars adjust from 0.72" to 0.78" wide. This allows the new bar to work with the models of ShopSmith that they did not used to.

I think the video has the sizing wrong. Shouldn't it be 0.72" - 0.78"?

what are the improved features? Color to green from black?
The biggest improvement is that the new ZEROPLAY is mounted to your sled first, and you adjust it to the miter slot from above. No need to take it all apart to re-adjust.
Also, we shifted the effective range of sizes, the new one can be set as narrow as 0.72" (18.2mm)
