The Leon Edwards finish gives me chills every time I watch it. Absolutely unreal comeback win
I was about to say the same thing!!
Makes a man tear up
Dude it was unbelievable, you’re getting smoked the whole fight. I’m sure everybody was already down in the dumps, this dude feints the fucking kick, sees no reaction and just sends her home right on the temple. One of the most beautiful examples of a setup I’ve ever seen
pound for pound, headshot, dead, that's it.
The coach is so emotionally invested. Look at his hand shaking.
STOP FEELING SORRY FOR URSELF
WHATS WRONG WITH U
Legendary
I think everyone's life would be greatly improved by having an angry Jamaican man just screaming at them
@@3starbadman know anyone available for when I’m trying to satisfy my wife ?
That uk, brummy accent too. Sounds so raw
Now do worst corner advice. The entire video could be Pat Barry to Rose Namajunas her last fight.
or rhondas "head movement... HEAAAAD MOOOVEMENT!!!"
@luvlybaluga that's actually good advice but Ronda was already rocked from the first combo in like the opening seconds of the fight lmao
@@thenedsmmachannel8970 that coach brainwashed her into thinking she was good at boxing. She absolutely sucked at striking, and needed to do what made her a champion: judo.
@@leeham6230 yeah I know that lol
Pat Barry : "YOU HEAR THOSE BOOS? IT MEANS WE'RE DOING IT RIGHT"
The Leon comeback made him one of my favorite fighters. I liked his style before, but the heart and will, plus the perfectly set up kick, to get the belt. Better than most movies.
Leon's a kickboxer, he should have been kicking in that fight a lot earlier. I like him, a lot more than Usman, but that kick was just a last ditch attempt and a hail Mary, he looked so defeated beforehand. If he can't get another kick like it in the rematch, which now Usman knows to watch out for, I don't see him keeping the belt long
@@NightlyGiraffe he was setting it up the whole fight but he looked too tired to throw it or he didn’t find a good opportunity but that was a good opening for it
I prefer comebacks like Tim Boetsch vs Yushin Okami, Elkins vs Bektic, or Merab vs Marlon Moraes etc
@@Th3Chuzzl3r That’s fair, the first two comebacks were also crazy, it’s a shame Merab won that one, I was pulling for Marlon. I think it’s the speech the coach gave Leon that makes me like that comeback most. It reminds me of some of the best motivation my coaches have given me.
@@camerons4702 Ya that comeback is probably the only time Merab was actually entertaining so I understand going for Moraes haha.
I like the comebacks where the guys are getting beat up and comeback to break their opponent for the win, I love seeing that type of grit/will, its my favorite part of the sport.
Props to Leon tho, he looked good against Usman in the 1st round as well, but I dont think he wins in the rematch.
When I saw GSP I was totally expecting Greg Jackson advising GSP to hit his opponent with his groin.
'I pulled my groin'
'I don't give a fuck, George'
@@BadselS "i want u to fuck him george" possible quote
@@BadselS you get my mentality?
"You gotta pull this sh## out of the 🔥" amazing work from Leon's corner gets me hyped everytime.
i like ngannou's corner. "Just knock him out"
"Mike tyson head moo'ment"
@CAPTAIN DEADPOOL why was it cracked twice in his last 4 fights?
@CAPTAIN DEADPOOL if you want to keep crying with excuses, i believe Dr. phil has a youtube channel to help you cope. i dont have an issue with glass by the way. if forged right, it can be quite beautiful
Lmao hahahaha
I was simply laying on my couch, expecting the inevitable to happen. Thought usman had it in the bag, thought it was over. Then Leon's coach gave that speech and God damn he had my blood pumping. Coach of the year.
That just might be Khabib lol
Bruh that was one of the best sports moments I ever seen live I was so shocked
Godamn real life Rocky shit
I think his coach is his brother as well
You sit on the couch while they kill each other in there…
That hand shaking with the water bottle in the Leon fight.... Passion!
"Stop feeling sorry for yourself" just hits different. In life, no matter how talented you are or how many skills you've mastered, there are moments where you simply lose confidence and get discouraged. All we need to do is get past that "sorry" phase and that itself is a success on its own.
One of the reasons Jones is one of the GOATs is because he listens to his corner's instructions really well, the adjustment he made during the Machida fight was amazing.
And he asked from the right or southpaw and his corner said either one. I remember that
Also Steroids. And eye pokes.
he will never be the goat kid, khabib clearly is
sorry a proven cheater cannot be the GOAT.
@@azrael557 he wasnt even only caught once or a few times, he is a serial offender. i dont understand how lance armstrong is disgraced yet jones is mostly respected by fans
"Listen, stop feelin´ sorry for your fuckin´ self, come on then!
whats wrong with you?
you are two fucking´ down you gotta pull this shit outta fire!"
this will never be topped, that was the best corner moment one could ever ask for and to me it´s the most impressive part, Dave Lovell did pour his whole heart into that sentence and it made for one of the all time best UFC moments!
Leon's advise was something from a damn movie
"hit him with your groin" is the greatest corner advice ever said
I get chills watching that Leon one. He was so deflated. But I remember hearing the corner say that... and being like "damn! He's survived for 4 rounds, anything is possible" and then he got the win 😳😭
At the end of round 3, my dad said “I don’t think he has what it takes”
Then my uncle, nearly blackout drunk, says “its not over until it’s over” before running to the bathroom to vomit. 9 minutes later, my uncle becomes Kevin Garnett and yells “ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE”
"Don't let him bully you Leon! Stop feeling fucking sorry for yourself!!" Chills everytime man.
Them whipping uppercuts from Boetsch were insane. And what a comeback too
Bro during the Leon fight watching it live I was hype when his coach was dropping that motivational speech.
Chito Vera was speaking about this subject a couple of weeks ago in his UFC spanish commentarie. I can't recall exactly in which fight, but the thing is that, the figther was getting dominated in the striking aspect and when the corner came in, they just wasted that time shouting at him instead of giving him useful advice. So Chito said what he would do if he was in this figther position and that, yeah sometimes you need motivation, but what you need the most is someone that can provide you useful guidance in your performance.
Love that Freddie roach clip. He’s so soft spoken just leans in and whispers fake the right hand and come with the left hook » and GSP just immediately uses that advice to knock Bisping out
Leon's coach gives me chills EVERY SINGLE TIME. He was spot on, Leon was dazed, a bit low energy, he totally pumped him up.
Was hoping to see Trevor Wittman`s "You are a champion because of your jab" in this (from Usman`s fight with Burns), because after that Usman focused on the jab and it changed the fight massively, ultimately leading to Usman`s win. Trevor Wittman gives the best corner advice anyway. Some coaches get very technical and hyper detailed, some just shout motivational stuff at their fighter, whereas Wittman`s advice always seems clear, concise and practical and motivational at the same time.
Leon's corner man is what every person needs. Picked his mans mood up threw it on his shoulders and said it's your time. Good man.
Aspen Ladd‘s corner against Yana kunitskaya was masterful!
That Okami loss hurt my heart.
Okami was my dog and I thought he had reached the next level in that fight. OPE.
3:04 Leon’s coach is shaking! Such passion and trust in his fighter.
"come on man, you got it man" followed by shaky-hand asf waster bottle will forever be one of the GOATed moments of MMA
Dave Lovell is an amazing coach. His cornering between the 4th and 5th to get through to Leon is really something to hear
"But that is not the cloth from which he is cut"
Legendary Anik commentary
"Stop feeling sorry for yourself." That's not corner advice, that's a life moto every single person man or woman should live by.
As a UK fan that leon corner moment almost makes me wanna cry, the fire his corner man brings is amazing. We all need someone like him in our lives
I don't think the Leon comeback will ever cease to bring a tear to my eye. Greatest sports moment I've ever witnessed.
Watched Izzys comeback live first ppv I've bought and that was amazing
leons cornerman hand shaking giving leon water
such a great call from anik on the edwards KO. i just love it. rogan and DC had already decided he’d lost and anik basically said “don’t doubt the kid” at just the right time. legendary words from his corner as well
Matt in Tim’s corner def a favorite
the set up that leon put on that kick is just beautiful
“Don’t let ‘em bully ye son” is just so pleasing to my ears
Leon Edwards’s corner advice gives me chills. You can hear the frustration of his coach trying to talk some sense into him.
Freddie Roach continues to be a legend
Leon’s smile as he’s walking off gives me chills. Surreal moment
2:54 *Chills and tears man. I'd give anything for someone to believe in me like Dave Lovell believes in Leon Edwards.*
The best part of Leons is his coach shouting for the head kick. You hear him really well on rhe Cejudo clip. Just like a movie scene
"Dont let em bully yu son" fucking legendary fight
Greg Jackson's pump up speeches are pretty good. Sometimes you get a Condit finish, sometimes you get Nate Diaz flipping double birds back.
man i'll never get tired of that leon finish. all the sweeter when you hear all the kamaru fans in denial like "it was a fluke", "one lucky shot" and all that. funny how the concept of a comeback win or an upset or a well-executed setup knockout deserted them all for some reason. they took the loss about as gracefully as the man himself, that is to say, not very gracefully
Rocky still gives me chills all over my body that KO was COOOOOLD
I love how Leon walks around the cage with a slight smile
3:03 you can see Leon's coach's hand shaking, he really worried
Love that Boetsch fight, one of the best comebacks I've ever seen.
I could feel the emotion of Leon's corner, such a satisfying end.
Leon still gives me goose bumps ❤️🇯🇲🏆
The Khabib to Makachev advice during the hooker fight was also good
Leon's corner is so chilling, the way the coaches hand is shaking when hes giving him water after.
Dude I love how your videos get straight to the point
2:54 I love how this one didn't need subtitles
Can't remember who it was who was fighting, but you should have included an honourable mention for when Joe Rogan explained the steps a fighter had to take to get a submission loudly and repeatedly while they were on the ground in front of the box and then after winning was smiling and pointing at Joe.
Excellent video compilation in the ITP!
Leon's corner's speech in round 5 is going on my gym playlist.
The Leon corner advice and win will always be legendary
Leon’s coach giving him that pep talk feels like a movie almost, it’s very impactful.
Leon’s corner had ME ready to run through a brick wall
“That is not the cloth from which he is cut” could be one of the best timed bits commentary ever
I still have to replay that Leon cornering when I see it. “I’m not.” “Well come on then!”
Bro, Tim botchs uppercut were a thing of beauty. So much power in them
Great video. I still get goosebumps when I remember watching Boetsch vs. Okami live
Leon becoming the champ, what a moment
Man my eyes watered from happiness when I saw Leon getting the win..
I love this sort of stuff. Seeing that a good knockout isn't just a bit of luck or power. The revelation that, in amongst all the swinging leather and bashing heads, there's a bit of brainpower being used as well.
Super cool video!! Would love a part two!!
“Well what’s wrong with you then? Your 2 rounds down you got to pull this out of the fire!!!”
Line goes hard.
That edit with the Rocky Balboa theme on Leon's corner is great.
TJ’s corner is probably my favorite advice I’ve heard in this sport. I still watch that fight for the on break in between. It’s just so calm and concise, so simple and effective. Leon’s knockout though is still the best KO I’ve ever seen
The Aspen Ladd corner in the third round against Yana Kunistkaya was fantastic
Nothing like that great advice from your coach...
Aniks commentary right before Leon's headkick also made it that much better 👌
I was just thinking about a video like this. ITP the GOAT
Wink's advice was amazing.
So specific and won Jones the fight
been withcu since the first channel glad u made it to the top bro I mean it, the crey trey up next
Condit Macdonald is one of my favorite fights. Really got a young me into the sport, wasn't a main event, had no idea who either was, just a super competitive fight between two very skilled and tough fighters.
That head kick wow legend
Look how good fighters do when they are willing to listen to their coaches and take the advice.
Geoff neal vs frank camacho is another good example
Right before the finish you can hear geoffs coach shout "zero zero" which was code for a head kick, neal then throws the head kick which sends camacho into the shadow realm
Wow the Leon one has to go down as one of the best coach motivation I’ve seen. You can see how dejected Leon is, and then his coach gives him that fire, he knew he could “pull the shit out the fire” unreal.
God the chills with Leon are real
Anik’s NO WAYYYY is the most emotional call I’ve heard from an announcer ever. It was awesome
Leon’s coach is the coach everyone needs. He believes in him no matter the situation and he’s gonna tell it how it is.
That GSP adjustment was absurd!
That really was a Rocky moment with Leon Edwards.
for jon Jones it's easy , 'remember all the peds you took, you should have a massive advantage ' # lance Armstrong of mma
He murdered Machida on a pure fight IQ and technique
@@BadselS and peds
@@BadselS and roids
@@hiraether6209 proof
Lyoto Machida was also on peds so it doesn’t matter.
Was waiting on the aspen Ladd corner when she was fighting Yana.
There's also Wonderboys ko against Jake Ellenberger where you can hear Wonderboys dad shouting SPIIIIINN then wonderboy does a spinning heel kick that KOs him instantly
Tim Boetsch throwing everything out the window and bum rushing Yushin Okami will never get old
finally in the pocket ufc gets the recognition he deserves
Leon's corner water shaking. That's intense.
I think I pulled my groin.
"HIT HIM WITH YOUR GROIN!"
I think that was my favorite of all time.
Of course the "head movement head movement" is always a classic too
0:38 Caio Terra the Legend with the excellent advice for Davis
Please do more of these 💯
Bruh check Leon's coach's hand shaking when he gives him a sip of water. Dude is pumped
This needs a part 2
One that I immediately think of is Moreno vs Kara-France
Krause said to Moreno something along the lines of "sometimes finish with a left hook, sometimes with a left kick"
This was a great video
