Wow listening to Conor coach is actually super impressive. As someone who is trying to take up coaching for BJJ and grappling and is an active competitor, he says alot of advice I have been given as well as some stuff I never really heard too much about. Kudos to him, when he isn't talking shit or up to trouble, he really is a talented competitor and knowledgeable person.

12:21 connor got a lot of flak for this speech but as he goes on you can tell he put a lot of thought into it and is trying his best to tell these guys the reality of the situation they are in. MMA is a brutal sport, a selfish sport, and it's a sport of ONE winner and one loser. The show is a platform and it's an opportunity and if you don't understand that then you are wasting it.

Connor is a genius of combat sports. He's spreading wisdom to his team. People forget that because of his crazy personality and because of the fact that he's a superstar. It ain't about that. The disrespect people give Conor kinda bothers me. I know he’s became kinda wild, he’s made mistakes for sure, and he tweets some really dumb shit. I’ll always remember the prime McGregor era, and how incredible it was. Kids today will never see another MMA fighter even come close to replicating what Conor was able to achieve. Double champ, 13 second KO to a man who hadn’t lost in 11 years (Aldo), went up a weight class & beat Eddie Alvarez with one of the greatest championship performances of all time, and he branded himself so well that he began making 10+ million per fight which is unheard of in MMA. The man changed the sport, and helped the sport grow on a scale that was never seen before. That is why Conor always gets my love & respect.
I think people forget all his losses are at a jump in weight too. People forget when he's fighting diaz thats two weight classes above him, although admittedly he was a big featherweight.
He gets disrespect because thats all he gives.
