Incredible defensive player as well. Such a pity he just missed the Irish tour with injury. Baloucoune has the potential to be a world superstar at international level
100% Should get him in for the Autumn internationals. In other words ASAP!
Irelands wing talent atm is so strong - Earls, Hansen, Conway, Lowe, Balocoune and Jimmy O Brien the list goes on
And Larmour might be better than them all, really rounded out his game since coming back from injury.
Stockdale back from injury as well Ulster will have some nice backs next year if they can keep them all fit
@@barryduff7533 larmour isn’t better than any of the players he just listed
@@symeremeyers4148 Larmour > JOB
@@symeremeyers4148 They're all good players and this whole argument is quite subjective and therefore pointless but that said Larmour is good in the air, surprisingly physical and breaks the line better than any other wing in the country. Sure Lowe might be stronger, Rob might be quicker and Earls might work harder but Larmour is becoming good at every aspect of back three play.
You could probably do a video on all Ulster’s young backs. Balcoune, Hume, Mcilroy, Lowry, Stewart Moore, nathan doak and even stockdale. Truely stacked
Not as stacked as Leinsters Sexton, Lowe, Henshaw, Ringrose, Gibson-Park, McGrath, Keenan, Frawley, Byrne x2, Larmour, J O’Brien, T O’Brien, Ngatai, Osborne, Kearney, Cosgrave, O’Reilly, Russell, Smith, Turner.
Now that’s what you call absolutely stacked!
@@harryocallaghan8082 do you understand the meaning of the word young? 6 of the names you mentioned are all over the age of 29.
@@alanrobinson7891 Ok then…Larmour (25) Frawley (24) Byrne (23) J O’Brien (25) T O’Brien (24)Osborne (20) Foley (22)O’Reilly (22) Cosgrave (21) Turner (23) Russell (23) Comerford (22) Murphy (20) Smith (22)
@@harryocallaghan8082 I’d take the Ulster lads over nearly every name on that list
@@DrSoprano except the Leinster boyos are better 😂
His change of direction is so good for such a big man. Means he can just get the jump on defenders and he’s away.
So many wing options for Ireland at the moment.
His tackles against player on the wing into touch are fantastic, never lets one beat him
Because he’s so quick and exciting forward people forget about his defensive side, such a good player, needs game time at a national level
I have the pleasure of watching this guy regularly and I think he could be one of the best in the world
I played him when he played for Enniskillen. Tore us apart
Tore you a new one says you. 😅
Gutted he didn't get to go to NZ. His form at the end of the season was fantastic. He had mixed in a bit more of the getting involved, roving wing play that Farrell looks for.
All going well he'll get a couple of starts in the November Tests. It's going to be a right royal battle with the wings available to AF, but he has out and out pace which you can't coach. If he continues to get in the mix, and be creative as well as a finisher, he'll be well in with a shout.
He was injured
@@Goldeneagle59 yes I know. That's why I was gutted for him.
Guy has no real flaws or gaps in his game. Top class defender, fast, good footwork, good fend, good awareness, good hands and good under the high ball. If he can stay healthy he will be one of the best wingers in the world
Regularly see him solo secure rucks against 2 players also
Never heard of him and now I feel stupid, absolute wheels!!
Fantastic to see
cant wait to see this lad once he gets into Ireland squad again :)
Ulster some serious talent
Sizeable lad with actual pace and dancing feet for one in one’s, instead of just kick ahead and hope, unlike Stockdale or other wings. Bright prospect
looks way better than any Irish wingers atm stronger faster can defend looks like a perfect winger
should be absolute filth at RWC next year
Brilliant!
Hopefully he'll be the one to spearhead an URFC revolution and finally end that silverware drought. No team more deserving of winning URC. And as for his international potential - sky's the limit. Great compilation.
Saw him when I was watching the ulster vs Toulouse games and was surprised I’d never heard of him before! Amazing player
This mmay aswell be a mccloskey highlight reel aswell lol
Any chance of a mccloskey one?
Hope to see him in the November tests.
If he moves to Leinster he might get in the “Irish” team.
What do you mean by “Irish”
True
If we only we had Balacoune, Conway and Kelleher for Ireland v NZ 😅
Ulster's back are so dangerous...
My winger
0:18 - "He doesn't have to put it down, does he?"
🇫🇯🙌
Hope Andy Farrell sees this
Robert Baloucoune, Michael Lowry, Jacob Stockdale; Aaron Sexton: who's the fastest over 30 meters?
Id say sexton (top of europe level sprinter) balacoune (decent accelleration and very good top end) sotckdale (slower accelleratio but similar top end to balacoune with more power)
Ireland is full of talents.

He's good but why hasn't he played for the senior team. He's the full package
He has played for the senior team
@@AndrewDavidForde okay but I guess not many.. But he looks good. World cup wing for Ireland?
@@john-leeroberts8099 hopefully!
@@john-leeroberts8099 personally I don’t think his kicking is better than either Hansen or Lowe so that’s why
he should have been penalised in the second clip - didn't release the tackled player
Great player but will never get on the ireland team. Lowe and Hansens link play is vital to how Ireland operate.
Lowe is hit or miss though. Massively improved internationally recently but I still think he is just too slow and they should transition this boy in sooner or later.
@@samwiselemon6420 Lowe is deceptively quick. Not like RB, but more than fast enough. He's also instinctively good with ball in hand, his quick hands and creative ability to keep the ball alive/bring others on to it, mean his scoring rate and assists are damn high. RB has already started to do more of what AF is looking for, and if he continues he'll push for the squad for sure, but right now the spots are Lowes and Hansens.
Baloucoune is insanely talented though. Lowe and Hansen have had their share of defensive blunders before while Baloucoune is excellent in defence, and there is nothing they are doing that he can’t do apart from Lowe’s left boot maybe. Another thing is that he is a massively tall winger, he draws in defenders and can offload the ball in some very awkward positions. He has to be one of the brightest sparks I’ve seen for the last while in Irish rugby, he could be an Irish superstar
Lowe is a defensive liability, doesn't tackle properly and barely puts in the effort. He's an attacking threat only.
Balloucoune is the complete package.
@@TheCitizenPain if you analyse the games vs new zealand you can see how much work lowe puts in to create an overlap
