Wrist Enthusiast, how does the Gerald Genta brand compare to the Gerald Charles brand? I am confused as to which brand is the true Gerald Genta heritage, and which one is worth the price?
It’s a little convoluted. But Genta was at the helm of both at different times. He sold off Gerald Genta and it eventually became part of Bulgari and LVMH. Gerald Charles was after Gerald Genta and supposedly was Genta’s last design (the Maestro). He remained at Gerald Charles until his death. Gerald Charles is an independent while Gerald Genta is part of a group. Both have their pros, just depends whether you want to support an independent or a group brand and of course what design you like better.
