I can't help but be impressed by the horology, the passion, and the product. For the third year in a row, IWC has brought something worth talking about. I'd gladly wear an engineer (however it's spelt) or a Portugueseer. Ideally, I'd own both!

2 years ago you showed the ceratanium iwc pilot’s chronograph with the ceratanium bracelet….but it never released with the ceratanium bracelet … why is that????
Going by the watch head, I'm guessing there might be some question marks around durability when it comes to a bracelet. I'd have no fear buying the watch on strap though (probably will myself this year), or a pure ceramic model... but I wouldn't go near a bracelet given it's makeup.

The level of functionality of these watches are sooo over the top ridiculous. It's like the off-road capability engineered into a Land Rover which will never ever get used by 99% of users.

It seems a lot of brands have taken TAG Heuer's glass box design this year. So far I've seen it here on this IWC Portuegeser and the new JLC Duometre.
Not a bad pickup - the box crystal with domed dial is definitely appearing more.
