I'm happy with this ending. The whole Star Fox team telling Fox to go get his woman back. And of all places she is on the very planet they met. You can tell that not one of them really wanted him to leave, but they wanted him to be happy more than anything. The very reason y R.O.B told Fox where Krystal was staying. And Falco becoming the elder of the new Star Fox team is amazing. I love our original team a lot. But I do think it is time that they retire the team and make a new series around Marcus and his team. And with possible communications from the old team members every once in a while. That is a game I would be more than happy to put my 60 bucks into. I know they are rebooting the whole series. So when command is rebooted I hope this is the ending of that game. And make the new series of Marcus Mcloud. If you think about it the team we grew up with isn't truly gone. Because they new team are all offspring's of the old team. But personally I think it is time for the old team to retire after the reboot, and bring a series of the new team!

man all the ending in this game are sad. But this game is freaking depressing all around. Just looking back on all the adventures start fox had its really sad to see it go.There are some really sad endings in this game and this one is a really good one compared to the other ones.

first off i like the subtle change after titania that peppy starts wearing his old clothes again and i only notice this now years later now that i am not a kid who only pays attention to the big things and second i played this game years ago and honestly the endings i liked the most were this one and dash's endings since it basically was the setup for the next game and seeing this now has made me happy and sad because memories.... i am gonna go play 64 now

None of the endings are canon and it's very likely that this game will be ignored entirely as far as future games in the franchise go, but if Nintendo does end up doing something with Marcus it would be really interesting to see how they handle Cerenian telepathy. Would Marcus inherit it from Krystal, and if so, would it give him some sort of special ability in-game or would it just be an implied background trait like how it was handled with Krystal?
+VestedUTuber It will pretty much be a background trait, as the story would involve Marcus struggling to follow in his father's footsteps as leader of the new Star Fox team. Also, Krystal would still exist, since Start Fox Zero is a retelling of Star Fox 64.
+Spike Riley I was thinking that it could be used to explain a bullet-time mechanic, which could be coupled with areas of extremely high bullet densities (like the infamous "do a barrel roll" segments but with even more bullets) to balance out the fact that being able to slow time would allow for easier dodging.
+VestedUTuber I think Marcus' telepathy would be used to sense weak points in enemy craft by reading the mind of his opponent. Or it could work like a Bullet Time function. I would also like to see Miyu and Faye make an appearance as perhaps a rival team looking to cash in on missions, but not a true adversary-like rivalry like Fox and Wolf's is.

She is, after all, General Pepper's niece and a bit of a mad scientist to boot. As for Miyu, I can see her ending up on a team with Katt, due to their similar personalities.
Nintendo should make a remastered version of star fox command on the switch to make the graphics better and make the characters actually talk and only two endings, the true ending and the bad ending.
