I have the old mythique and its sick, taken it over everything from big jumps to rock gardens and still going strong.
Is there a lockout on the rear shock?
For everyone mentioned the price increase. I work in manufacturing and prices have gone up a cross the board in all sectors so you have to expect bikes RRPs to increase too.

She forgot to mention the massive price hike to an eye watering £1899.99 and this is the price you will pay, as there's no haggling at CRC. Compare this to the last 2022 Mythique VRS which was on sale for £1,229,99 in October. Those 'tweaks' on the 2023 model, are costing you £670😲
i have the 2022 model and its so much better than my previous hardtails i shall upgrade the suspension to some fox items and also the brakes to some 4 piston jobbies that will bring my bike in line with this new model
They should have used different colors than the Sommet and Escarpe line.

I believe the prices have stayed about the same, despite the new frame updates!
@@lovebrosracing2559 The VRS was £1649 and is now £1900 and I'm sure the VR was about £1300 and its now £1600 so yep prices are up!

@@1SeanPG To clarify, I meant the prices are still relatively low when compared to other bikes with similar spec, that aren't direct consumer. For instance, in the states, the Vitus Mythique VR, the cheapest Mythique, retails for $1699. The Specialized Stumpjumper alloy, the cheapest stumpjumper, retails for $2800, and has a very similar spec to the Vitus, aside from having a 12 speed drivetrain, and a budget rockshock fork. Another thing to add is that the you can put a wide array of rear shocks on the Vitus Mythique, but you can't do this on the Stumpjumper due to the size of the stroke and eye to eye of what the frame calls for. Finally, it turns out that in the states at least, the prices of the Mythique line up have stayed the same as the previous year. Last year the Mythique VR retailed for $1699, which is the same as this year. In the United States, for $1699 you can have a sick Vitus Mythique Vr, which I believe is the exact same frame as the higher end models. Did I mention it comes with a dropper post?
