- Google wants Go to be a lightweight version of Android that can run on low end phones with 1GB or even 512 MB of RAM as well as take up less space. So I bought the most affordable Android Oreo Go Smartphone I can buy: The myPhone myA11. With a quad core Cortex A7-based chip, 512 of RAM, and 4 GB of internal storage, does Oreo in Go form hold true to its promise?

512 mb ram??
I use it for listening to music
WTF. my phone has Snapdragon 820 4gb ram 64 gb rom and still never got an update for oreo. My android is still 7.1.2.
Really good video, thanks!
Great video
man dude i watched the whole video hoping that you'd try a few games on it. like subway surfers of clash or atleast dead trigger 2 or 1. even if it wouldn boot or just crash. it would be fun
will cortex A5 work with android go?
Hey good job, but
Do u know how can i get rom from myA11
I was wondering if the Spotify App could run in background in that phone of the video with only the 512 RAM memory. Good smartphones are expansive in Brazil, so that Android version is a real life savior for budget phones. Oh, what about the web version of youtube? does it run properly in that phone?
You could run too but it may affect the battery and the performance . Or u can use it as your mp3 player
You can always install the standard CZcams I use it on my budget phone
Spotify runs but very slow and theres a Spotify lite thats just for songs and nothing else
please do a review of how google go runs on this phone
The ram isn't running out those phones restrict activities up to 2 processes only
would you recommend this as a spotify dedicated phone? thank you sir
It can lag a lot sometimes
@@surfacner5989 what do you mean by it can, dont say unless u r not sure

It's funny you can access your subscriptions on the mobile site, but not on the app itself. Might as well just put a shortcut to the site, and call it a day.
Balak ko nga bumili ng Nokia 1 para subukan yun Android Go, at backup lang. Pero hindi na.
The Nokia 1 uses more powerful MT6737 (4x Cortex-A53), 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal.
I know that. Though, from watching your reviews and reading more about Android Go. I decided not to buy it anymore. I only use my phone for social media, GPS, and music. And it's still too limited for me.
Besides, for the price of the Nokia 1. You could get a much better phone, like the Xiaomi Redmi 4A/5A.
@Rasetsu Bass if you actually want Pie. You can install a custom ROM. Otherwise, Xiaomi updates MIUI every year, and they backport some features. So even if you don't get it. You won't be missing out much.
Xiaomi phones are notorious for having good developer community.
Bad phone dude,bad....
Root it and make it good u dumb ass
This kind of phones are cheap and affordable not power machines you can pay 30€ for a brand new model
