The first E and B note brought so many memories. Just those 2 notes opened a door of all my childhood memories, a deep breath, and a moment of silence was what struck me. All those years of building cities, fighting off mobs while making it back home from mining. Thank you Minecraft.

Same, I first learnt the easy version, which only used the right hand, then I learnt a different version that used the left hand as well but was still fairly easy, and then I played other songs, and once I got better, I came back to Sweden, and I learnt a harder version. Sweden is an absolutely beautiful track. Back then when I first learnt it, if you asked me what my favourite minecraft song was, I probably would’ve said Sweden, now I’d probably say it’s between Living Mice and Beginning, but Sweden is still definitely up there. The whole minecraft volume alpha and beta hold a soft spot in my heart

I remember playing only those notes over and over at my dads house growing up.
I played it so much that every once in a while my dad would ask me to "play the minecraft song" and i happily would for about 30 minutes before going squirrel mode and trying to use the other built in sounds on the keyboard

The final “I’ve gotta eat dinner, I’ll be online tomorrow!” The last goodbye. It’s a beautifully written song, and I appreciate the sadness it brings with it.
