Engels is in grad school now super nice guy I met him last year I'm sure he will keep raceing but not so much
I'm glad he went to grad school. I remember him saying last year that all his friends were starting to get established in their careers and he felt he was being left behind running around a track

Last Great performance was his 1:44.35 800m in my opinion. Such a wasted talent in the 1500m.

because he was a big name in American track a year or two ago, and flotrack is using it to attract more views. most Americans wouldn't know anyone else in this race except maybe josh Thompson or sam parsons

Craig told me back in March that he was gonna run in May but I guess he had somethings going on
He was a popular guy in 2019-2020 but fell off hard, was labeled the next big thing when he beat centro

Never has a runner received so much attention for accomplishing so little, and that's saying something considering Sha'carri gets paid to run.
Sha'Carri won NCAA titles and set the 100m World Junior Record. That's far more than Engels has ever accomplished.
@@brandonmroe265 you are correct, seems like a lifetime ago. Sprinting is a "what have you done lately" sport. A career can be over in 11:29 seconds.
Craig had the promise to be the next great American miler, he showed somes flashes of excellence, specifically 2019 when he won USA Outdoors, but had some injuries and life changes and hasn't gotten back to where he was/where he was going. Keep at it Craig. don't let the haters write your story.
