Since 2018. OU is 13/2 vs SEC. One of those was a 2 OT loss to Georgia 52-48. Enough said.
Why you keep putting completely FALSE numbers about uo's record VS SEC? Trying to get some likes or something? Makes you feel better? Makes you feel like a big dog? sooners have played ZERO, NADA, NONE, ZILCH SEC regular season opponents since '18 season. Where that 13/2 record comes from? NUFF said.

The ONE win was covid season over the gators. Not a single regular season game played or win by uo over SEC in specified timeframe. Yeah go head and defend your boy.

You get the picture? I know people look at the big 12 and think they are a joke and are considered Pop Warner league of college football, but don't listen to that propaganda.

LSU dressed under 40 scholarship players for that bowl game. A WR/DB played QB. He did have 3 TD passes though.

Auburn lost to New Mexico State at home, Alabama was in a dog fight with usf all way to end of the 4th quarter.

@@user-xp6qd4sk1j Mid tier Big12 teams are any team not named OU and Texas. This is going by average recruiting, revenue, stadium size, fan base and average record. Ok State is very much a mid tier Big 12 program. It's funny how SEC apologists such as your self move the goal posts whenever it's convenient. The hard truth is there is not a lot of difference between Mississippi State, Kentucky, Arkansas, Vandy, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee compared to the mid and bottom tier of the Big 12 except stadium size. OU and Texas are going to immediately settle into the top end of the SEC and guys like you are just going to have to get used to that.
@@stevejohnson6248 Those last three SEC teams you mentioned are better than any xii team not named sooners or horns down. I agree both ok and texass will slot in to top half of the SEC. Two of top 8. Let's play a couple of seasons to see how close it is to 1 or 8. My guess is #3-#4 at best for one of them. The other more like #7-#8.
I guess we have a difference of opinion of what mid in a 12 team conference is.
SEC is a grind everyday most teams you have to bring your A game. It makes a long season. Hope your 3 deep every position. Oklahoma will be fine.
He at least mentioned some names of people that actually pay attention to the program in Eddie, Gabe and Teddy.
7-5 to 8-4. It's a stacked league this year and Oklahoma is getting most of those teams. Maybe 5 games vs top 10. They'll be solid eventually perennial top 5 SEC which puts you in playoff picture. That's all that matters now anyway. They won't be there every year but I'd think most. We shall see. Definitely possible to be a Florida type mod program as well. Here it's not about name on your chest it's about having a great coach who can utilize talent because everyone has it. The great coaches stay at the top. Guys like heupple and Kelly and Napier haven't proved themselves consistently yet anyway. Drinkwitz may be there with Smart and Kiffin guessing Sarkisian likely Debore if you've followed his path basically great every stop. That's your top tier. Will Venables be that guy looks promising but to be determined.
You guys are so totally sound asleep on UCF. Gus Malzahn and that bunch are going to be a huge impact.
7-5 is absolutely not a good year for Oklahoma regardless of the schedule or the transition to the SEC. No real OU fans are going to say “7-5, what a great season”. a 7-5 season is unacceptable at Oklahoma. BV would be and should be on the hot seat if OU goes 7-5 this season (because he would have three years of nothing at that point). Loosing every big game on your schedule is not “a good season”. What an awful take. You don’t have to expect to walk in and win the SEC but anything worse than 9-3 is a bad year and no amount of “context” will make it acceptable.

So everyone wants to talk about how Auburn played a really tough game against Alabama and Georgia or maybe that means that Alabama and Georgia weren’t as good as people think because I watched Auburn this year and they’re going to get mud stopped by Oklahoma these people that think that this SEC gauntlet is such a big deal. Oh, by the way, what’s Oklahoma’s win versus Auburn?
The SEC is a different beast, now every conference is tough don’t get me wrong. But the grind is very real in the SEC. And you going to see exactly what people have been saying. When that Iron Bowl played at Jordan Hare it’s definitely going to be a toss up not matter how bad Auburn record is. Remember in 2021, the Iron Bowl was 10-10, going into OT. The thing about the SEC you can knock off Bama thinking every game after may be a breeze lol, have a lower team come in and smoke your team. Every team not Bama and Georgia but remember EVERY team has those type of athletes. Look at what happened to Tennessee, they beat Bama and ranked #5 in the country, a playoff contender. They went to South Carolina and got 63 pts up on them. You see what I’m saying

These people that try to convince us of the SEC gauntlet hierarchy clearly haven’t really been watching college football the last five or six years I can remember a couple of seasons ago when the SEC is mid tears lost almost all of their bowl games in the big 12 one most of theirs and then when we looked at the rankings of the defense, they were like 6 teams from the big 12 in the top 20 of the defense

Almost all of the Sooner fan base are overlooking teams not named Alabama or Georgia that can very well beat them. Road games to Auburn LSU Ole Miss and Mizzou this season is going to be tough on all SEC teams. Then playing top 5 talented teams in Alabama and Texas, Oklahoma has a tough schedule this season. I think eventually the sooners will right the ship and improve but im not so sure its gonna be this season and with BV. Good luck to yall. Looking forward to having the 2 new teams and fan bases !!
@@Ananias03 or they aren’t over looking them and they have done research and found out Teams like Auburn don’t even have an offense and in their defense is suspect teams like LSU or All offense which is most likely playing a big 12 because they have zero defense or their defenses in the hundred rankings.

@@Ananias03 actually, MO sooner fans believe the hype because they listen to ESPN a lot. I myself decide to watch tape from games last year and then compile the weaknesses versus games that Oklahoma played with other teams last year. For example, didn’t I watch LSU struggle with a horrible Arkansas whereas a Arkansas would be considered a BYU in our conference or a Texas tech…
And I don’t understand why you would think that BV wouldn’t be able to do it. He’s the most likely candidate he actually took the time to learn how to build programs in the winners from not one but three Hall of Fame head coaches, and two of those won national championships.
